Great stay, close to everything, great pool, cozy atmosphere.
Small bathroom, building a little outdated.
The building oozes style and must have been incredible in its heydey. All our family loved it´s old character, made even more perfect on Christmas morning with all the 50s and 60s Christmas classic tunes wafting through the restaurant and bar. All the facilities were very clean and well cared for. The staff couldn´t have been nicer or more accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Our room on the 11th floor had a good view over the pool and was nice and quiet.
As we were there on public holiday (24 and 25 December) the bar was shut, although we could use the space to sit in. It would have been nice for it to be open as it's the only public space in the hotel before 10am or after 7pm when the pool area is closed and, given that, I'm sure that guests would have happily spent enough to justify having a member of staff on to keep it open.

Just a bit outdated and breakfast was the same every day
Staff especially (girl from Venezuela was the sweetest and kindest) location was perfect. Cleaning lady was very nice too ;)
Breakfast was the same every day- not sure if the food was replaced. Property is very dated but has its on charm. Beds are comfy but it’s super old property
The outdoor pool was amazing for central Buenos Aires. The room was very clean and the beds super comfy. The breakfast was OK, nothing special for a 5 star hotel.
The room was pretty small. And there was no tea/coffee making facilities.
This hotel is ideally situated near Florida and Lavalle shopping areas, some great restaurants and within a 30 minute walk of most major attractions… couldn’t ask for more.
The property is charmingly old school but it needs a little love… the ac was noisy but effective. I would have appreciated a “smart” tv to catch a late night movie…
Definitely one of the best stays I ever had at any bnb. Juan the owner has been really welcoming, and the accomodation was relaxing and cozy, everything was great. It was located in a very calm area, a nice break from the chaos of Buenos Aires’ center, and could easily get (a short uber ride) to the water area of Tigre for a lunch at one of the restaurants reachable by ferry boat. Will defintely try to come back.
The hotel staff were kind and spoke English well. I was able to check in a tad early which was very convenient. The size of the room was large which was nice. I was able to store my luggage there after check out and felt safe doing so.
The WiFi did not work in my room and was constantly disconnecting. The shower head was basically one stream of water that pounded me and was awful. In the bathroom sink, the hot water faucet did not work at all so I only had access to cold water. When I changed the temperature setting in the room, the fan was obviously broken in the blower and it made the most horrendous noise which prevented me from moving the temperature at all (it was either all or none which was frustrating). The walls between rooms were VERY THIN and I could hear EVERYTHING happening in the hallway, in the rooms next door, etc. The hotel listed “airport transfer” as a perk and when I went to contact the hotel, it took them almost 24 hours to respond. Even when they did respond, their prices were astronomically high and very unreasonable compared to uber. When I went to shower, not only did the shower head not work properly, but there was old hair on the wall that left me questioning how clean the place really was.
Close to the Obelisc and tourist area.
The wifi was terrible and nothing was done to improve it. Connecting/disconnecting every 2 seconds that i had to reset the phone which started to act strange like black screen and not responding to swipes. It was a food price for location but a bit rundown the hotel
The facility, the look of the hitel and accesublenfo any where
Great people, from desk excelent
It is a very ancient hotel, with a nice aristocratic vibe, the bed was comfortable, we liked the old gym as well. The location was close to the centre, shops restaurants.
The thin walls makes you hear any noice from the other rooms, even the facilities are old, it should be maintained with more care to keep them alive.
Politeness, comfort, location, beds, shower, gym
Breakfast costs $24. It could offer more options such as fruits, protein sources, skim milk, and diet yogurt. We had to leave the room at 3 a.m. to catch our flight, and there was no power. My suggestion is that the hotel ensures the room telephone remains functional during power outages, so it can be used for emergencies.
Dated. Overpriced. Don’t bother getting the breakfast.
The breakfast. The dated decor. The air con smelled of damp.
in its day it was a grand hotel - actually the room i had was quite nice and a great bathroom
old building and lobby that needs to be spruced up a bit
Close to the shopping street. Central location within walking distance of some of the landmarks of Buenos Aires.
Not much, staff was fine
Old, broken down, no wifi in the rooms only the lobby, air conditioning hardly worked in the rooms.
The hotel has great colonial style. Even is getting older it has the vibe of Buenos Aires
The breakfast is nothing special, can say too basic for 22 USD
Classic party hotel from Buenos Aires’ golden age, still living up to the highest expectations.
I needed a bucket of ice and had to ask twice before I got it.
