Hotel Facon Grande

The location was awesome. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were professional. The breakfast was really good. I would stay again!

There was a heavy deodorant smell when we first arrived. We asked the desk to not use the air freshener which they did. The bathroom was a little cramped.

Internet didn't work in the room, had to go down to the lobby to be able to use it.AC couldn't be controlled per room and didn't work multiple nights of my stay.

Location: The hotel is walking distance to the Buquebus terminal, making my 7am trip to Montevideo less stressful. The hotel is also accessible from EZE airport. The bus stop is only about a 10-minute walk away. Major tourist landmarks are also within walking distance. Staff: They were helpful and spoke good English. I noticed them being attentive and helpful towards all of their guests.Cleanliness: The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job maintaining the cleanliness.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi was functional but can occasionally slow down. Odor: My only issue is the sewage odor that comes from the bathroom. Fortunately, it's not overpowering enough to ruin my stay, closing the door contained it.

Location, room is comfortable, breakfast is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Lots of near shops and cafes.

There is a very loud buzzing noise coming from outside the room, likely an air vent so it is very difficult to sleep.

No kettle or hot water facility to make coffee. May its not customary in south American hotel. Need to get hot water in hotel kitchen.

I had a room on the street side and in the morning it got noisy. The breakfast was average not great.

Good value for the money. Good location and overall nicely decorated in the vintage style.

Breakfast was just ok, was a bit strange that you had to tell the servers what you want instead of just taking it yourself when the food is already on the table. Rooms being a bit vintage meant there weren’t too many outlets in the room- I could only find one. Which is fine but good to be prepared if you have many devices to charge.

Room close to a noisy air conditioning engines, badly organised breakfast , not self service , you have to ask the staff over the table what would you like to have , it gives you an impression of discomfort and kind of begging for food .

Hotel room with limited area. The location is very good, walking distance to several places in the city and also close to the bus stops. wifi id good

The room is very small, it is basically a bed. Almost no place to put the luggage (if you are two, even more difficult).WC is bad and old. Not really convenient. Very noisy in terms of neighbours (thin walls) and constant noise from the elevator.

The room we stayed in was renovated. The hotel is in a central location and you can walk to many places. The breakfast wal very good.

My second time staying at the hotel. Staff was just as friendly and helpful as the first time. Very happy with my choice.

I thought it was daft to have breakfast laid out at a counter and have staff hand you what you wanted - either have a buffet or waiter service.

We booked this hotel as it was close to the ferry terminal - a 10min walk for an early departure so very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff friendly and speaking english. The included breakfast provided a good range served by the staff

The bathroom had no hooks for large towels only one hand towel, so nowhere to hang anything. Very small sink/basin. The shower sprayed out water onto the floor no matter how careful you tried to be as the glass divider is very narrow

Everything was OK, worth money I paid

Breakfadt was like buffet but you can't choose on yourself, a waiter serves you and because of language barreer it was a bit difficult to communicate with a waiter, so I decided to not bother them much. Buffet should be buffet.
