- Great location, superb rooms. Big bathrooms, good views.
Cons -
- Buffet breakfast... needs improvement, e.g., eggs watery undercooked, pastries a bit dry, and not tasteful
- In the name of "security" the staff made me feel unwelcome. Every time I walked into the hotel I was looked at and questioned as if I was a criminal.
- Lack of amenities in rooms, eg, 2 tissues in a plastic pack

In the name of "security" the staff made me feel unwelcome. Every time I walked into the hotel I was looked at and questioned as if I was a criminal.
Great location, superb rooms. Big bathrooms, good views.

My stay at the Emperador Hotel was really fantastic. It started with a wonderful check-in experience; I can't remember the staff member's name, but they were so friendly and assisted us perfectly. It makes a massive difference to start a trip this way. We arrived at 12:00 PM, and luckily our room was ready early, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is stunning—pretty clean with a beautiful lobby area and modern rooms. We didn't have breakfast (though it looked very nice!), but we did have the most amazing New Year's dinner there.
I have almost no complaints, except for two small notes regarding the room amenities:Water: We only received complimentary bottled water on the first day. It would be great if this was replenished daily.Coffee Station: The in-room coffee setup could be elevated. Currently, they offer the "teabag" style coffee with no cream or milk available. A pod machine (like a Nespresso) would fit the modern vibe of the room much better.Apart from the coffee and water situation, this was a stunning stay with great wine and beautiful facilities. Highly recommended!
Clean and comfortable.
Bar manager rude and unwelcoming. Food and drink over-priced.
location, atmosphere, service
don[t have water every day to drink and the few was charged
Passable
We recently stayed at this hotel, which advertises itself as a 5-star property, but unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The first major disappointment was the bed — it was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. For a hotel of this supposed standard, this was surprising .Additionally, we were unpleasantly surprised to find charges for bottled water and even a small coffee bag in the room. At a true 5-star hotel, these basic amenities are usually complimentary, and there was no clear indication that they would incur extra fees.
The staff efficient . Fast check in Able to store luggage overnight Location near restaurants.
The shower floor very slippery almost fell .
Room was nice and spacious and staff was very friendly
Eggs etc were cold at breakfast. Would have been nice to have had bottled water for the prices of the rooms.
The cleanliness was good
Very limited food options for vegetarians. Also no bathroom slippers / bathing robes etc. Not at all like a 5 star property.
The Hotel was spacious with a lovely bar and restaurant. The food was excellent and well priced. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. Suitably located close to cafes and restaurants.
We were excited to return after a great stay five years ago. The location is fantastic—close to the airports and lots of restaurants. The hotel amenities and cocktails at the bar were enjoyable and added to the experience.
After more than 24 hours of travel, we arrived around 1 PM and were told our suite wasn’t ready—which we could accept. However, our American friend who arrived before 9:30 AM and had only booked a simple room was checked in early and upgraded to a suite. The receptionist tried to be polite, but the supervisor was quite rude and dismissive. We asked several times if early check-in was possible, and we were ok to pay extra for an early check-in, but we were left waiting until 3 PM.We felt there was inconsistency in how guests were treated, which left a negative impression. The suite we received did not match the photos at all—it was outdated and needed renovation.
This time we booked a simple room and were pleasantly surprised. This was our 2nd visit within past 10days.Martina at reception was outstanding—friendly, efficient, and truly helpful. This room was recently renovated, modern, and much nicer than the suite we had previously.Again, we enjoyed the hotel’s amenities and the cocktails.
The beds and nice size of the roomThe helpful staff
The shower floor too slippery. No grab bar .
Nice well appointed rooms, big bathroom, staff was amazing!
Wish they had a stocked mini bar and coffee in room
Friendly reception by Martina who actually remembered the date we were returning to the hotel. Made it feel like home!
Construction noise outside. Annoying but no fault of the hotel.
Location & pool
We paid a lot of money to stay here & still had to pay for in room water, tea & coffee. I’ve stayed in less expensive hotels that give those items free.
Breakfast very good lot of choice, the garden, Will come again next time in B.A.
Nice clean big room
No free tea and coffee, the location is not great, not safe to walk around comfortably
