    • The location was fine. The personal was ok.The room clean.
    • Location, space
    • Friendly, accommodating staff. I mistakenly booked double twin beds, and the check in fella quickly found an equivalent queen or full size bed room for us. Excellent location especially for first time visitors to BsAs that’s half a block from the handy landmark obelisk and is surrounded by convenient and gift shops and restaurants etc

    Cons -

    • It was one of the worst experience of my life. The front desk manager was a crook and looked for ways to make money every chance he got. He offered to get a car for us for $20 to take us to the port where uber was charging $6.

    Location and have fridge.Taxi service.

Staff. Too unconcerned.Have a doorman as old times (no need) but the rececption staff need to learn how to do service. No eye contact, their mind is elsewhere, answers without enthusiasm.

24 hour Front desk staff and doorman

Older building so bathrooms needed upgrading- showerheads not uniform pressure, towel bars loose in tile walls

    9KarlynPosted on: 12-23-2025

Gentleman at desk was very helpful.

One elevator working--quite small and only held 3 people.

    7JEFFREYPosted on: 12-18-2025

Close to obelisk. Close to restaurants.

Apartment style room. Bathroom is weak.

Big room, comfortable, clean and silent. Everything worked well.

    9GabrielPosted on: 11-19-2025

Location is close to the Obelisco. Nice lobby and 24 hr doorman.

A bit dated, rickety elevator but clean and efficient. WiFi was poor.

    9GabrielPosted on: 10-15-2025

The best location in Buenos Aires.

The bathroom looked very old compared to the rest of the room. It was clean.

    6JulissaPosted on: 7-23-2025

The location mostly. Extremely well located one block from Ave. 9 de Julio

It is an old building but located in the heart of most turistic, cultural and historical attractions.

    5JeremyPosted on: 4-8-2025

Great location. Some of the staff were unhelpful, the pool murky, most of the gym equipment inoperable and apparently they don’t provide spoons even though the room had a kitchenette.

Watch out for your personal data, you never know what data breach happens there. I am still worried.

The reception of the hotel ringed me up at 3 a.m. telling me, that the taxi driver - who took me from the APT to the hotel- wanted to speak to me. At first I thought, I had left something in the cab, it was not the case so I said, I am not interested in talking to this man. I did not know what he wanted to speak about it, and I did not care! I had arrived at midnight at the hotel and went out to eat something and I returned at 2 am. So, after travelling 24 hours the hotel made sure I had no rest. Why did the hotel not simply take a note or his number? To apologize, the hotel offered for Sunday morning breakfast and I could stay until 2 pm in my room, as I left on Sunday. I was very exhausted the entire Saturday, because I had no sleep the whole night, because if you wake me up, I start getting big headaches and I could not fall asleep again. On Saturday, instead of meeting my friends for drinks, I went to sleep at 7 pm. at 10 pm my phone of the room rang again, I thought it was the manager who wanted to apologize, but no! It was again the taxi driver who wanted more money for the trip! He had already overcharged me but I said nothing and had paid. I felt very threatened and uncomfortable. I hang up and called reception and I asked if this man was again at the lobby. The answer was no. Then I asked, if they had transferred the call to my room again no. So, my guess, someone must have given him my room number so he could call me directly!!!!! I am shocked about this breach if confidentiality. The rood receptionist said, well why did you pick up the phone, it is your own fault!. So, it was in my head, as there are many groups of people, even there is Security at the door, someone could enter as part of one of the groups and go up to my room, know at the door and do me harm. Again no sleep, I paid for nothing, only to store my luggage because I had not rested. NEVER AGAIN!

Location was right next to what I can describe as the Times Square of Argentina. We were surrounded by shows and events and right next to one of the main roads that runs through the city. There were lots of nice parks by Theatre Colon and shops to get snacks and drinks.

The area was too touristy and was too far to walk from all the best places to visit in Buenos Aires. A lot of the restaurants we had been recommend were in Palermo. The hotel gym was very not somewhere where you could train with only a very small handful of space and equipment and the sauna was broken during our visit.

LOcation within city within walking distance of many sites and proximity to many restaurants. Helpful staff. Comfortable room

Breakfast was very overpriced relative to other local options and hotels elsewhere in Argentina.

    9MichellePosted on: 3-18-2025

I liked the location - very central to the Obelisk and only a 30minute walk to Recolata. My room was HUGE, had a mini fridge. The staff were nice and helpful, and I was able to keep my luggage there for the day whilst I explored before my flight.

I couldn't quite figure out how to tell if my door was deadbolted at night - the lock just turned and turned. I also didn't like that breakfast wasn't included.

Location is great. The pool on the rooftop is nice.

Room is old and has noisy floors (top notch room). The AC wasn’t working properly and we had to sleep with no clothes on to cope with it and woke up all sick. When mentioned this to the staff on the counter she was like ‘ah sorry about that, good bye’.Mattress was rock hard.Wifi was very slow and cuts off.
