    Pros +

    • They did change my reservation according to changes in my itinerary.
    • Parking is a few meters away from the hotel, not great, not terrible, if its raining, you will have to walk outdoors but is not far away, breakfast was good. Room was clean.
    • Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel.

    Cons -

    • The key card didn’t work, have to return to the front desk to activated again. The cable tv wasn’t working, I had to ask twice for help (the maintenance guy was nice and agile). The bathroom looks old and deteriorated. The bed didn’t have electric outlets on the sides (there were just two one next to the other on the far end of the room, no practical). It was a cold night and there weren’t extra coverts and the only one available feels like plastic and too short for a king bed shared with my husband.
    • Booking stated the total cost would be 300usd, was billed for 375usd. No explanation, no details, nothing. No one at the hotel cared. Had to pull the reservation multiple times in order to have breakfast in peace. Bathroom was super small, beds were noisy and unconfortable.
    • Bathroom sink faucet in Room 307 has to be turned on very carefully or the water will explode all over everything. Television only worked for streaming services.

Great price, room had everything I needed, no extras that I have to pay for but never use. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed. Room maintained comfortable temperature. Excellent location. 110 volt outlet (U.S. standard) available in room. Safe in room. I've stayed here many times. Good restaurants nearby. Never had a bad experience, but as this is a budget hotel, don't arrive with unrealistic expectations. Will return.

TV did not work (room 208). One of the two elevators was broken. Large groups get preferential treatment in the restaurant, while the other guests are lucky if they can even find seating. Manager berated staff member in front of guests (Saturday March 8 in the morning). Shower leaks onto bathroom floor even with door fully closed. The maid acknowledged this is an ongoing problem, assures the guests they did nothing wrong. No water glasses in room. Bring some bottled water or buy from the kioscos and markets next door.

LocationFriendliness of staff - very helpful

    Breakfast was good

Wash basin / Bathroom was not in good condition, towels looked deteriorated, they were supposed to be white and they looked light gray, curtains were not closing correctly

Not much really. The hotel is well located near tourist attractions but when it gets dark it's quite sketchy

    Broken furniture, very uncomfortable mattress

    1MariaPosted on: 11-12-2024

    The location is great

It was really dirty, the facilities are in really bad shape and when we showered everything flooded. Very bad experience, also the staff was mean.

Excellent location, very easy to walk around to nice sites within Buenos Aires

The hallways smell heavily of cigarette smoke

Our stay at the hotel was brief but pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, offering a comfortable environment for a good night's rest. Its prime location near the Congress made it convenient for our visit. The breakfast selection was satisfying. However, the lack of a mini bar or available beverages in the room was a small drawback. Overall, it was a great stay for the night.

The lack of a mini bar, not enough towels.

The staff are so helpful, efficient and friendly. The position is ideal especially if you like to walk the city.

It’s a little tired but it’s good value.

    5ArjunPosted on: 7-27-2024

    Staff were polite

I developed horrible allergies from the comforter/mattress at the hotel. While taking a shower, water would leak in the rest of the bathroom.

    10DenzilPosted on: 7-2-2024

The staff are excellent. They all helped me in every way possible with a fun attitude! The position is good. The room was very comfortable. Thank you all so much.

Best location in BA.Not expensive stay

Worst Ibis in my experience - the hotel is literally falling apart (example: electric sockets fall from the wall if used).Terrible coffee included in breakfast - it’s some puke invoking liquid. They don’t let you take wine glasses from the restaurant in your room, imagine

    6NitikaPosted on: 6-4-2024

The staff was really kind and helpful. The location is good and the bed was very comfortable and clean.

The bathroom door lock didnt work!!! They do not even provide a bottle of drinking water in the room and when you ask for one they charge you close to 3 euros per bottle (500ml) which is extremely overpriced. You can get a 1,5 litre bottle for less than 3 Euros in Buenos Aires.

location excellent, breakfast is good , room is clean and comfortable .

no water heater for tee coffee at room

    8SubarnaPosted on: 4-18-2024

Breakfast is good , room is ok , location is very good . However. Small Towels , tooth brush , papers , water and boiling kettle would be better to provide . Staffs behavior is extremely nice. We have initially booked for two nights however due to staffs nice behavior we extended two more days .

Sufficient and varieties of clean towels , tooth brush , napkin papers , hot water kettle to boil water to drink would be better to keep in room would be better

Skipped it - very dirty and poor facilities

Room very very poor condition - the worst I’ve stayed in . Stained bed sheets . Bathroom door knob broken / fell off when used . Curtains torn and falling off . Security gates to enter the hotel- felt like you were entering a prison !

    10WaynePosted on: 3-19-2024

This is a solid budget hotel. There is a chain of them across South America. If you're looking for just an overnight no-frills experience, this is your hotel.

No refrigerator in the room. Visitors are not allowed in the rooms even during daytime hours. That seemed a bit strange.

Fantastic location by el Congreso and 25 May Park. Hotel staff was really helpful. They showed us how to get the VAT refund from the government. We were able to safely walk most everywhere important in Central B.A. from here. The restaurant was very convenient and good, though pricey compared to the street.

This particular room was small and extremely basic, but it might have been an outlier in quality, selected for low noise and great view. No coffee-machine, refrigerator, or similar (though TV). The bed was old, the thin mattress barely refugee-camp quality; however we slept incredibly well in it. In general, this hotel appears to be in need of renovation and renewal.
