Pros +
- This hotel has a fabulous location and the staff were amazingly helpful with everything. They went above and beyond to help us with our luggage that missed the flight.
- This is a great small boutique hotel and I wish we had spent more time here. Common areas like breakfast are amazing, small but sophisticated. Rooms are very comfortable, good size and quiet. The pool was amazing during the summer days and a good way to refresh and recharge after a long day walking the city. Staff was amazing, breakfast was very good, location is quiet and a little tucked away from the bush streets. All and all a great experience and would love to come back. No big families, no screaming kids, no splashing in the pool. Just like and adult traveler needs and it’s highly appreciated in a small hotel.
- STAFF! Pool, gym, location, bar, nice breakfast spread, nice sized rooms, great bathrooms with large jet tub on the terrace that were light and bright, gorgeous white baby grand in lobby (why is no one ever playing that gorgeous instrument?!)
Cons -
- My only realNegative was that the Air conditioning in the rooms was not strong enough and no apparent fix or effort to fix from night staff. For me, this is a deal breaker when I travel. If I can’t get the room cool enough to be able to sleep well and sleep comfortably, it will sour the experience overall. Also, they really need to up their bed game, specifically higher quality mattresses and most importantly the pillows. With today’s standards having most 4 & 5 star hotels providing a pillow “boutique” where you can choose your preferred kind pillow, 1828 need to throw out most of their lumpy old pillows and do a complete update.
- Slightly smaller room size.
- Nothing!

Great location, nice pool, good breakfast and friendly staff
Beautiful rooms that slightly small, beautiful hotel very friendly people were very helpful
Slightly smaller room size.
The staff were amazing! The breakfast was delicious and Mariana took care of our every need. The front desk staff were also great. The rooms were comfortable as well. Location was perfect - we took Uber everywhere but also were walking distance to a bunch of restaurants in Palermo.
Nothing!
Staff was very accommodating and nice; beds were firm and comfortable and location was perfect for Palermo
The only negative was some of the food; room service, especially the fish was not good
Lovely boutique hotel, staff were amazing, very helpful with booking things, great location in Palermo, breakfast was good.
Nothing, all great
The location is great , near the main plaza in Palermo SoHo , the room is clean and with a good size
Facilities are not good in my opinion, the door of the hotel is always closed and you need to ring the bell, the gym is not a gym , it’s a 8m2 room with one treadmill and a bike and no room to move . The bed is not good .But the worst is the front service is n my opinion, I paid one more night to stay till 8pm as my flight was at 11pm but they still charged U$30 more as the room I booked for the extra night was a lower category . The front service doesn’t help with the luggage and couldn’t get a taxi for us to leave , it took 30min and this is Bs As not a country side city.
First class all the way. Friendly and helpful staff that went the extra mile. Even accommodated our early arrival. Excellent location. Breakfast was terrific.
Everything was great
Small and cute hotel, the treatment is very personal amd nice. The breakfast is GREAT and has big variety. The kept cleaning our room everyday. And the room was designed good.
The pool was too small for my opinion- and there is no spot with sun which made the pool very cold
Breakfast was available until noon which was great. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
The hotel was super boutique in that the facilities were tiny. The "gym" was directly in the "spa" area and did not have any space to do floor work or lift weights. It did have 3 different machines for cardio and there were adjustable dumbbells available and a mat for floor work but again, no real space in which to do this. Similarly, the "pool" was a wading pool for splashing or getting wet; no actual laps were possible.
This hotel is totally unassuming from the outside. You would be forgiven if you missed it.We were lucky to have booked a suite which had a balcony and was located on the 4th floor.. The room was clean, neat and well appointed. The showers was equipped with a rain shower. Breakfast was great. All staff were super helpful, friendly and spoke English would highly recommend this hotel.
Hard to like something in old run down hotel
Hotel purely maintained everything destroyed old not clean . Overpriced for what it is total waste of money unpleasant place . The view on slams Smells terribly . Breakfast no choice every day the same . Lift a disaster I’m not even sure it’s safe . Personal zero English in the bar . Bathrooms filthy..don’t waste your money stay somewhere else ..
Staff, location, breakfast, pool
This hotel was gem to stay at. Breakfast was wonderful! The staff, Lucia, Mariana & Bruno were very pleasant and helpful. This hotel made our stay in Buenos Aires that much more special.
Innenhof mit Pool sehr schön.Bett war primaAir Condition excellent.
All Bath Room need a serious maintenance. (mold)No Hand shower available only Rain shower. It was very difficult with the reception to get a taxi to the Airport which accepts Credit Card.at the end after long discussion it worked .
The breakfast is very good, as are the rooms. The pool area is clean and functional but small, so don't stay here for a pool focused break. The location is however perfect. On a quiet street just minutes away from the action of Palermo. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This place feels boutique.
Lovely hotel in good location in Palermo. Staff were very friendly and the hotel offered some good extras. Breakfast included was a bonus and all day access to coffee and tea.Rooms are nice but not big.
Rooms were a bit small so there was no room to sit down or leave or open a suitcase on the floor.
Central location in Palermo. Great breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Very comfortable bed.
