Great location, very affordable and comfortable beds
Building is old
Nice staff and clean.
The breakfast was not good enough for a vegan.
I really liked the hotel because of its prime location near many iconic spots in Buenos Aires. It's in a safe area with great places nearby, everything is close, and it's a peaceful and walkable vibe.
Great location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was substantial even if it was the same every day. Good WiFi connection in room.
The shower tub threatened to overflow every day. The floors had a lot of hair on them. The staff didn't replace the items we used from the mini-bar each day. We weren't informed that there would be a charge for the coffee capsules in the room which is a convenience offered by nearly every hotel now.
The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. They gave us great suggestions that made our visit to the city exceptional. The location was great. We felt safe and it was easy to get public transportation. Breakfast was fresh and substantial. The beds were very comfortable and the entire building was clean.
Location was OK
The reception was under remodelation so the hotel was dusty. The hotel was all very dark. The location wasn't very close to the charming places to walk by.
Great location!
Main areas under renovation, would have been nice if the hotel had pre warned us as it did affect our stay. Air con in the rooms did not work properly.
Location
Dirty, all interior so old, air conditioner didn’t work
Location was perfect, near many parks and restaurants.Breakfast good for start the day, honest.Room good size for me and my friends!
Air conditioning was not cooling much.
The location The safe surroundings The staff, very friendly
No iron in the whole hotelNo hair dryer Shampoo etc doesn’t get refilled regularly No robe/ slippers etc Walls are not sound proof Obviously these are minor concerns that I wouldn’t even comment on if it was 2 or 3 stars hotel. But for 4 stars hotel I found this a bit disappointing
We appreciated how friendly and supportive the staff at the reception was . They helped us booking restaurants, sourcing tickets for a football match and giving us good tips on what to visit during our stay. The location is just perfect
In one room the fridge wasn’t working. One of the rooms had a very small bathroom, very tiny space for the shower
The best feature is helpful staff that in a foreign country is golden. Arranged all our transportation, tours, suggested restaurants, went above and beyond to help us in every way.let us in early due to overnight flight, and good breakfast until 10:30!
Beds were quite comfy and the guys on reception for check out were nice. We were also able to store our luggage for a few hours, despite checking out a few days earlier than expected (which they also were kind enough to let us do). Having spent a bit of time in the reception area in the morning, it felt nicer than our initial impression.
Our initial impression wasn't great. We got dropped down a lane mid afternoon and everything felt dark and eery. Even as we entered the reception, there was a strange atmosphere. No music, the reception desk was tiny, the chairs behind were worn, and we had to fill out all our details on paper check-in forms (which I haven't seen for a long time). The elevators were dark and rickety. The room itself was okay but was also dark and in need of renovation. There was dust on the side tables and hairs in the bathroom, and a weird selection of stuff in the mini bar (all of which was overpriced, including the water). We also had 3 power cuts in the space of an hour (which impacted the elevators too - thankfully, no one got stuck!) We were told that it was a problem in the area because of the current situation in Argentina, but we'd just come from another hotel in the same area the night before and had no issues. I had planned to stay there 3 nights on my own, but I just didn't feel safe or comfortable, so had to cancel a few nights and move elsewhere.
Nice neibourhood and spacious room with very nice view, walking distance to the cemetery and 9th July.
Breakfast was basic
Excellent location in Recoletta, very comfortable room. Proximity to AEP also a definite bonus if flying through BA frequently while traveling around Argentina
Great location and comfortable/For local standards it is good value especially if you pay in Peso.
air con blowing directly onto our bed. It was too hot to sleep with it off so not great.
Good location. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Rooms are outdated. Bathroom has old tub and lobby is old, dark and dingy. Halls are all black . Compared to others in area was expensive and not as nice.
