Gran Hotel Buenos Aires

Location most definitely! Safe area and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent!

Thin sheets, room was cold at night and no heater was working. Thin walls ¿ could hear the room next to us party until 3am most nights, making it difficult to sleep

The best thing about this hotel was just the location.

This is not a 4 star hotel at all. It couldn't be even a 3 star one. The funiture was not good, the bathrooms need reconstruction and the sheets were in bad conditions (torn) as well as the towels. The heating was turned on just 22:30 and didn't work well

Great location, close to Plaza San Martin, Calle Florida, Av. Santa Fe and even Recoleta.

The hotel is classified as **** and it is not that. I would say *** at best. My 1st story bedroom just had a smallish window facing interior walls. Also, the room is close to the lobby, so very noisy in the morning hours. That said, the price was right.

Room - The bathroom is clean but the sink is broken and the toilet is moveable. Elevator - The 2nd elevator always has matel hit sound when the door open. Also the door cannot closetightly.Breakfast - Is OK and only this time offer coffee, no coffee or tea in your room.

The Wi Fi service is so poor, so so slow. The Internet/ WiFi service seems stay at 20 years ago, The speed is over your immagine. Unbelivable slow. I just can give this hotel 1 point only for this service.

The central location. Breakfast availability. Good WIFI.

Room 401 - very noisy. Faces street, over a nearby bar. Water faucet hard to turn. AC also old and noisy but it did drown the noise from the bar. The hotel premises in need of refurbishment.

Staff was friendly and helpful

The breakfast buffet sometimes had expired fruit and dried out pastries.

Very good location close to Saint Martin Plaza. Good bed.

The staff, the bathroom and a terrible outdated and half broken shower, low water pressure. Breakfast with plastic cutlery was a first time for me. A very steep walkway for the suitcase.

Awesome staff, help us with early check in, crib in the bedroom and taxi on our check out. Perfect location close to Galerias Pacifico and San Martin Park

Bedroom door handlers were old and not working.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and every detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. Truly a memorable experience from start to finish!

The location is excellent, you have a lot of stores nearby and you can walk at 3am without bussiness due to its a safety place for tourists

Location is very good. Great place and walking distance to the Center of Buenos Aires and other atractions too, like Florida Street, Pacific Gallery, porto Madero. Etc.

Noise in the street... some nights it is possible to hear the noising coming from bars at the side street.Also, there is not jacuzzi inbthe place as described.

Friendly staff and good location

Towels and bed linen had stains on it. Very noisy, we were listening to the conversations and TV from the neighbors. Breakfast was very poor, food was over (at 9 am) and not being replaced. Almost no vegetarian or vegan options.

Great check-in front desk man, thank you! Good WiFi. Good air conditioning. Nice view from the 9th floor. Cold refrigerator. Elevator, 24 hour front desk. Restaurants in the area. wakable to historic sites.

The family room is spacious. Two floors with comfortable beds and AC. It's an amazing location.

Location was excellent

The hot water on day one flowed brown, and not the rust of old pipes brown for a long while. It never truly ran clear. On day 2 there was no hot water at all. The hotel is right next to a bar so the music and noise went from afternoon till late evening.

Good location.

The hotel doesn’t look as good as the photos in real life. There is no pool and no jacuzzis as they show on photos. I was also charged a “Derecho de Uso” which other friends were not charged in other hotels. They said it was a local fee. I was also asked to give the 16 numbers of my credit card which I found weird. Elevators don’t feel that safe.

This hotel has a great location, right in downtown, however, the rooms are quiet because it is on a side street. The room was very spacious and comfortable for 2 adults. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very helpful. They had a good ara dedicated to working. The staff was very helpful, accommodating our late check-out. each floor as a caricature of a famous Argentinan, which was pretty cool1
