    Pros +

    • Clean and very close to main points of interests
    • Clean, food and service.
    • We had checked in into hotel on 19th Dec 22 and our checkout day was 20th Dec 22. We requested for delayed check out but for obvious reasons it was rejected. Our flight was at 9.30 PM on 20th Dec 22 from the airport and it was world cup celebration time for the whole country. Entire square was full of people gathered to celebrate! We enjoyed to be on the streets and enjoying to be part of the celebrations and also had checked out well in time. The square in front of hotel was full of crowd and it was just No 10, Messi! Messi!! We had to leave to airport but no signs of getting taxi. Mood of public was so upbeat that it was just not possible to drive even though taxi was willing to! Omar at reception went out of way to arrange a taxi for our group of nine! I should appreciate his concern for all of us, and he ultimately succeeded to arrange at taxi to airport around 7 PM and somehow we made it to be inside flight! I am not sure whether I am spelling his name correct but yes he is an asset to the hotel as their employee.

    Cons -

    • Excelente, polite and we’ll trained personnel
    • Large room but the bathroom facilities are old and need to be updated. Towels in bad stage very old.
    • Intercom was not working! Had to move down from room for every requirement.

    The localization

The AC doesn’t cool. The room very damaged, nothing to do with the photos shown in the publication.

    7LohanPosted on: 2-13-2024

The location is very good, near to points of interest at very short distance and access to public transport

The air conditioning of the hotel was not enough for the heat. In fact it almost didn’t do any difference. The breakfast could also have more options. In general the structure of the hotel is somewhat old and doesn’t seem like to be maintained very well.

    Location

Poor breakfast. Difficult to charge mobile, camera etc.

    10DonaldPosted on: 11-23-2023

    clean, quiet

Hotel was wired only for weird Argentine electrical plugs, not wired for more common American and European plugs. Hotel had no adapters. I had to buy adapter from a store down the street. Any hotel in Europe would have had adapter available for free.

The only positive aspect of the hotel is its location. Really close to the obelisk, the Corrientes avenue, the Tortoni café, etc.

Horrible experience, we booked 5 nights but left as soon as we got up the first morning. The room has a small window that makes you feel in jail. The AC system was all night making sounds of birds (or rats?) walking on the ducts. The bathroom wasn't clean when we got there. We asked the staff to find us a bigger room, for which we would pay the difference, they told us they'll call us, which they never did. We abandoned the place and moved to the Libertador Hotel, far better.

The only thing we liked about the hotel was the location...

The room looked as if you step into the 1940. Although this hotel has a 4-star rating. The room had several plumbing issues, resulting in bathroom flood. They had no maintenance people, therefor Omar who happened to be at the front desk came to cleanup. When he was done, he told us that he did us a favor, since is not his job, and expected us to pay him.

Location was amazing. Just a stone-throw from the Obelisk and a wide range of nice restaurants. The room itself was very nice; the bed was comfortable and big, the shower was amazing.Breakfast was very good. Price of the stay was excellent.

A reliable WIFI connection is very important for travellers who do not have access to mobile phone data due to high roaming costs. Their wifi network seems to be unable to accommodate the big number of guests. We spoke about it with the staff two times and they said they would restart the router, etc, but the truth is that we did not have wifi connection in our room. It is not that the connection was slow or poor, we just did not have any, so we had to go and sit in the lobby in order to get connected. The elevators seem to be in poor service, they are very noisy and rattle a lot, and we did get stuck briefly. (When we got to the 11th floor, the inner door of the elevator opened, but the outer didn't, so effectively the elevator opened to a black metal wall. We panicked a bit and then travelled to a different floor, where the issue did not repeat.

Overall hotel and Stuff is very good and very helpfulRooms were very comfy and cozy

The bathtub was broken and when I filled it with water, the water in bathroom started rising from somewhere I dont know.

    good location

Poor facilities, uncomfortable room, rude staff at reception

    The location

They are supposed to provide Internet and at best I only had access about 15% of the time in my room. I ordered a taxi through the reception and was told it would be paid through the hotel. when the taxi came I asked just to confirm and was told I had to pay directly to taxi driver. I ended up paying twice.

Location, staff attention, accessibility to public transport.

The hotel is equipped to be rated as a 3 star, not 4. No coffee machine in the room, no ironing equipment (iron and board), malfunctioning fridge, no Wi-fi in rooms except for in some common areas. Missing utensils in room (e. g., glasses/cups), no lamp on table, one bedside table only, old stained pillows, some walls with wallpaper detached. Malfunctioning of elevators and of hotel access door.

A very central location to downtown Buenos Aires. Breakfast was nice with some different choices.

The WIFI was very hit & miss to get it working. The staff tried hard to reboot the router etc. But in the end you needed to go the lobby to get a signal.

Great location. Well furnished. Excellent breakfast. Staff welcoming and eager to help. Great view from bedroom window.

Internet problems. We had no internet in our room and it seemed a little erratic in the rest of the building.

exceptionally clean. close to city center, Host was very informative and hospitable offered advice and options for things to do.

no food offered, early excursions we went without food until we got to destination. Advice is to shop the night before so you have rations for the excursions or what ever you do. Nothig is open early nearby for food.

It was an emergency booking since we had trouble with a connection flight

The lights in the room didn't work properly. There was water leaking from the upper floor.Because of that the carpet in the room was damped and the air humid

The breakfast was better than most 3 star hotels and the room was big enough to do my back exercises.
