SLS Buenos Aires Puerto Madero

Location, room size, breakfast quality, staff at the restaurant was very nice and accomodating.

The real outdoor pool being only for the residences because the hotel dedicated pool was almost underground.

Breakfast was good with just the right amount of varieties of food. Staff was fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable on choices of activities to do.

It’s quite a distance from shopping and main attractions and make walking a challenge especially in hot weather so end up using uber frequently.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The location in Puerto Madero is excellent with easy access to restaurants, bars, parks, etc.

Great hotel, we liked everything. Very clean, friendly staff, and we were given a room upgrade for free (the room was huge). There is a nice pool on the ground floor (just so you know - you can’t use the pool by the restaurant). The lady at reception (I think her name was Milena or Milana, I'm really sorry, I forgot, we stayed in so many hotels on this trip...) helped us to book a table at the bar to watch the Boca Juniors game.The hotel is in a very nice, clean, upscale area, with lots of bars along the river, and there is a very good restaurant, Michel Rolland, right across the street.

Breakfast is good, but there’s not much variety - the menu is the same every day and there are almost no sauces or condiments. For us it wasn’t a problem, as I had read about it in the reviews here, but they don’t really warn you anywhere in advance that they take a deposit (for us it was 500 dollars in cash). The location was excellent for us, but if you want to walk around Buenos Aires, it’s quite far from the main tourist areas - only La Boca is relatively close.

The breakfast was great, the gym was incredible, and bed was comfortable. They were nice enough to give us 4 chocolates to our room to celebrate our anniversary, but this was after my husband dropped a big hint and indirectly asked them if they do anything for celebrations.

The lighting in the room was too dark, the coffee machine in the room was broken which then created a mess that we needed to clean up, staff took too long to answer the phone or never picked up the phone for the front desk (called for 15 minutes straight), the pool could have been better maintained and would have been nice to have some sort of mini bar (this is a 5 star hotel after all), be prepared to come with your own adapter or ask front desk for it because the outlets are only accustomed to Argentina (in other Latin American countries they include Europe and America), many staff members don’t have the best English so my husband who speaks Spanish had to take over a few times…

The location and premises are quite nice, staff as well. Comfortable room. Goog breakfast.

The bathroom could be a little bigger.

The room was very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, with fresh cappuccino made just the way you like it. The hotel is very chic and modern. The staff was extremely attentive and even recommended we see the Rojo Tango show at the Faena Hotel, which was an incredible experience and well worth it!

The location is ideal, within walking distance to attractions, ATM's, restaurants, and the like. Check-in was smooth and professional. The room is beautiful and the balcony is spacious and an added bonus. The Leynia restaurant is stunning, located on the second floor overlooking the city. The staff are great and the food is exceptional. Breakfast is great but the hot offerings were limited to an omelette without the option of sausage and/or bacon on the side. The lobby area has a work of art on exhibition which is thought provoking. However, management should rethink the layout of the lobby to make it more comfortable and user friendly.

Great property with great rooms balcony and view / great breakfast

No where near the caliber of hotel of other SLS Hotels. Lobby was cool and staff was attentive but room was very basic lacked the luxury touch SLS typically offers in their other locations. Pool is also basic and is shaded by the surrounding buildings most of the day (which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you are looking for). All fine, things were clean and stocked and decent. However, if you have stayed at SLS in other locations, outside the lobby display here in BA, there is little other similarity.

We've had room on 2nd floor and you could smell food on corridor and also on balcony. Balcony near street is a little bit noisy.

Swimming pool and facilities around it requires cleaning and tightening up. Some furniture in rooms requires repairing or renovation (e.g.chairs on balconies). Construction works nearby.

Everyone was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was also really good, it was free with a buffet but also can order food which is rare. The beds were very comfy. And the best hotel gym I have ever been too!!

Great room, and a great restaurant on the property. Amazing breakfast. The location is perfect. It is walkable to so many restaurants!

The only thing that needs attention is the shower door. It is REALLY hard to open from the inside, especially with wet hands.

Nice and modern mid-size hotel in Puerto Madero. Great rooms, breakfast, location and staff! Highly recommend.
