Hotel Clasico

Hotel was well located. Staff were very friendly and helpful really nice people. Specially Charlie. Breakfast was a fantastic addition for the price. Really yummy and coffee was excellent. In overall it was a great experience.

Honestly the bathroom has a plumbing issue. There was a puddle of water on the floor after taking shower.

Rooms were a good size and bed was comfy. Location was decent, about a 10 min walk to the main areas of Palermo. Staff were very helpful

AC wasn’t very strong, we were quite hot in the room. Plumbing was not great, our toilet clogged and we had to move rooms as there was no one on site that could help.

Cats living inside of the property, sleeping on tables people eat at. Hallways smelled like cat pee Rooms are run down and look nothing like photos Staff was rude and unhelpful. If you see this place …… RUN

Receptionists at front desk were very helpful and dedicated. There is no fitness center but they give you vouchers to use a well equipped gym few blocks away. I took a great stretching group class there included in the daily admission.

The hotel seems to lack good management. The construction work was done somehow cheaply and is not holding well. Example bathroom faucet in room 205 is not the proper size and length related to the sink size so water splashes over the counter. When you shower water gets out of the stall getting floor wet and is affecting the bottom of the door. Materials used on bathroom floor and walls are beginning to show cracks or peeling. I did notice they are in the process of fixing things in the hotel. Broom brushed brown paint on the ceilings give a darker feel to the rooms and ruins the lines of nice wall moldings. Nice pictures on the walls but you can’t help to notice the messy ceiling paint that does not add light or beauty to the room. It actually mars other decorative efforts.Rooftop terrace is in an estate of abandonment. Broken lounge chairs piled up and dirt all over. I asked receptionist to please mention it to manager. Just 20 minutes of straightening up on rooftop would create a space for guests to sit few minutes to chat or read or get some light and air. So, as I said it looks like an absence of management that would pay attention to detail. There is good will and attitude of staff though.Ladies restroom in lobby did not have toilet paper. One hour later after I mentioned it, still, there wasn’t toilet paper. I understand, they were probably busy and forgot but attention to detail is something that could be trained. These hotels charge a lot for a night stay compared to the monthly salary of any hotel employee in Argentina’s so they should have good management and proper building maintenance. I hope to see improvement because it is a nice hotel in a good location. It is not a “classic” hotel but it could be. This is my impression.

The location is great in the heart of Palermo, easy to walk to any of the great eating and drinking establishments around. The hotel itself is absolutely charming and stylish with wonderful retro design and decorative elements.

There was a gap in the shower stall bottom seal that allowed water to go across the bathroom floor, but that all went into a drain anyway so not too bad.

Very unique rooms with character. Very different from chain hotels in a good way. The breakfast wasn’t great though. Location was good with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

It was an excellent option, location, location…Excellent staff, Federico gave me accurate information about places, restaurants, museums and more. All of them made my stay more pleasant.Excellent breakfast!

The property needs a little love, but is great for the value.

The staff was friendly and helped us with many things, like finding a vegan friendly restaurant, ordering taxis, and allowing us to use the baggage storage. The room was clean. The hotel is close to a lot of bars and restaurants.

The shower drain didn't work properly, and there was noise coming from the other rooms through the walls at night.

Outstanding location, nice sized room with comfortable beds and bathroom. Staff were very helpful and let me use their computer to check-in for my flight and print boarding passes, and also gave good advice about how to get around town.

The hotel was a little tired looking and could do with a facelift.

It was well located, close to dining locations, friendly staff and decent, clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent and filling.
