    • The service at reception was excellent. They resolved our issues and were very helpful. They were friendly and always ready to help. Food at the restaurant was delicious.
    • Breakfast was awesome
    • Breakfast is great! Location is very convenient!

    Cons -

    • Some blocks away from the obelisk and the swimming pool needs a bit of refurbishing
    • 1)The outlets gave us problems holding whatever we tried to plug in. 2) excessively noisy with children running all over and being loud. 3) the bathroom was noisy too ( maybe the noise of water running through pipes)
    • The only thing I didn’t like is that I couldn’t stay longer in this hotel

An aging hotel seemingly held together with duct tape, but there are upgrades that are trying to restore this old hotel to it's former glory. A solid step above a motel 6, but good value for money as it's the least expensive of this category hotel in this Retiro neighborhood. For the price, it's recommended. The two redeeming things were the very nice breakfast and the beautiful, attentive lady at reception with the wavy light brown hair. I think her name is Soledad. She was super friendly, helpful and has a great command of English, which was helpful to us.

The bathroom was very cramped but functional ,

    Nice beds, and ok breakfast

    The pool was disgusting.

    8MichellePosted on: 1-25-2025

Breakfast had a large variety of pastries, fruit and dairies. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi were great. Well located hotel, on a quiet street. Staff was nice and the hotel itself is pretty.

It is absolutely noisy!! I heard every single sound, from people speaking or flushing the toilet, to slamming doors and elevators opening and closing.

Breakfast was excellent, well stocked. Staff were very polite and efficient. Excellent coffee. Location was excellent. Recommend great restaurants. Our room was clean and large, beds were comfortable.

The pool area only had the lake gets pool open. The water was way too hot for being a main pool. The hot tup was cold when it was open. I preferred the temperature of that. The whole area needs to be power washed.

    Pool was way too warm.

Great location, nice staff (especially at the reception, thank you for everything again!), delicious food, swimming pool, sauna and cozy room.

The unhelpful transfer service: we wanted a direct transfer to the hotel from the airport. While doing the reservation, they only wrote Spanish. However I wrote them in English...(Later, it turned out they speak English as well, just simply they didn't want to write in english. Because of our flight changes, we wanted to give the updated informations at weekend. I wrote them via email, at Booking, at their website and at their Facebook. No answer... It was an unpleasant situation, we were waiting for them at the airport, nobody came. Finally, we found another taxi service. On Monday they answered, they only works from Monday to Fridays:) Finally they said that there is an 24hours call service (they work at weekend too) but you can only call them on phone (not Viber or WhatsApp) if you are a foreigner tourist, it could be very expensive (10 dollars /minute if you are Hungarian) ... Apart from this situation the hotel was very good. Thank you.

Great place, Nice staff, good breakfast

The bathroom was a little uncomfortable, the toilet was too far above the sink and there was a leak in the drain, the water rose and wet the bathroom

I like everything. Breakfast was great, staff excellent, dining was surprisingly good and inexpensive. It was charming. Scheduled to stay two days and ended up staying five.

    5JamiesonPosted on: 10-24-2024

The location was great and the staff were all lovely and helpful.

The room was very dated. The air conditioning did not work. There were flies in the room and some other very big bugs. Much of the food at breakfast was stale and there was flies landing on things because they weren’t covered. The bathtub was warped plastic with cracks in it. Absolutely no sound proofing. The swimming pool looked very unclean.

The breakfast was good, the location excellent. The facilities as well

Tramitamos la reserva para pagar por booking y nos cobraron en el hotel, cuando en la reserva decia pago por adelantado a traves de booking

Staff was professional although early check in was not given despite the only one night stay and the request both on booking and at the online check in. Also, we were there for both of our bdays celebration. Nobody noticed, remarked, wished happy bday to none of us. A bit sad.Breakfast was abundant.

Furnitures were quite outdated, very few power outlets in uncomfortable positions (e.g. none of them near bed or bedside table)Not an European 4 star hotel. No coffee facilities in the room.Wi-if was Awwwful!

    7JonathanPosted on: 2-11-2024

simple but adequate breakfast. it's older and a bit shabby, frankly, but you get what you pay for so I really can't complain. Location is very central and I was able to walk to every place I needed to go to.

As I mentioned, it's a bit worn, but for less than $100 a night, it was perfectly adequate.
