- Ive never bothered to write a review of a hotel before but I really feel obliged as I had a terrible experience here. When checking in I questioned the price as I didnt understand the taxes and I felt like I was being overcharged. (With hindsight the price the receptionist gave me may have been correct - I still dont fully understand the taxes in Argentina) I remained calm throughout but I thought it might be better to check online for another hotel the receptionist threatened me and wouldnt allow me to sit on the seats to check my phone to look at other prices. We had some language barriers of course but this really made me uncomfortable and so I couldnt stay there and I moved to a different hotel. They still charged me the full first night (which technically they were entitled to do) and not only that the owner charged me some more by mistake. We since sent a few messages back and forward with the owner and I was at least reimbursed this extra charge. I felt like they shouldnt have charged for that first night at all - because I didnt stay there as well as the behaviour of the receptionist making me uncomfortable. They technically didnt do anything wrong as I had booked in with my credit card for that first night. I think if thats the way that they run a business - well its pretty poor and maybe some other travellors will take note of this.
