    • This was my second time in Buenos Aires and I loved my trip. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The spa was nice!

    Cons -

    • The Room, (horrible layout), the complexity of the lights and how to use them, the 100 pound bedspread and no lighter blanket supplied even after we requested one, the food at the Italian restaurant. Who makes steak and puts it in a brick of crust? It was so dry and awful plus the tomato sauce in the seafood pasta was so sweet. Overuse of onions. I’m Italian. We never put onions in our tomato sauce. That’s what non Italians who don’t know how to cook make it. It ruined the meal.We ate dinner out the next two nights because of this and found outstanding food at half the price.
    • Pool and Sports areas were closed due to maintenance works , we were informed shortly before arrival. No treats or any other gesture was made to compensate that. I tried to arrange a SPA session and no place was available.
    • The pool was too cold, so we couldn’t enjoy the facility.

We went to Faena to enjoy the facility + restaurant + Rojo Tango. We enjoyed the pool area, ate at El Mercado, watched the show at Rojo Tango, and enjoyed the live music at the Library Bar. It was very fun! Live music at the bar was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite large, automatic blackout curtains, windows you can open, and a bathroom you can fully open the curtains of to let the daylight in - nice touch.

The breakfast was quite ordinary, inside the breakfast room is too cold (same issue for dinner time at El Mercado). The hotel was not very clean - there were tissues and things on the ground on our floor when we arrived which were still there when we left :) The bed was very clean but the room in general did not feel super clean. There two things could be improved.

Location good, good breakfast, facilities good. Rooms could be better. Bathrooms are not that nice and the bed (double) is surprisingly small.

All in all it’s a very nice place! Friendly staff! Nice gardens, well designed architecture.

we had in issue with the water supply right at the Morning of our departure. To have no water for quite some hours is not acceptable at all. I got the Impression when staff explained the issue, it was a Problem with some of their Pumps that occured not the First time . I would expect then that they have a back up pump. Especially when charging Rates around 800 Dollar per Night. Though the staff acted in an accepatble way afterwards and with a not only symbolic discount for the last night, but again that not happen at all. I would rather have preferred to forgo of any discount and not having such an experience. Side note: It seems a bit ridiculous to charge money after the second nespresso capsule…

Good suite. Nice staff. Good gym and steam.

Good suits. But ordinary rooms were too small.

Great service and excellent staff. ok food overall some dishes are great others are not even worth it. over crowded pool and library bar (where you have breakfast), outside guests come for drinks so very little space is left for hotel guests, who do not get priortized. Spa and gym are very small and oversold, relaxation area is loud and has only 6 chairs for the whole hotel. Extremely overpriced for what you get, which is only decor. Lipstick on a pig!

My wife had the clock stolen from the room. Unfortunately, we only realized it on the plane. A report should be made on site. Regarding the above, there were only 2 coffee capsules available to use. We ordered more, but nothing arrived. Language was an issue; not everyone spoke English, especially the cleaning and restaurant staff. Our friend's shirt went missing... The price, especially for New Year's Eve, was too high, and the New Year's party was mandatory (€550 per person), although it wasn’t mentioned during booking.

    Beautiful hotel. Staff were great.

Aside from the kitchy decor, which is part of the brand, it seems, the hotel.is close to a swamp, so it's impossible to avoid the mosquitoes in the morning and evening if you're trying to eat or drink outside. Also, they don't provide certain amenities you'd expect from a 5-star hotel, like in room coffee and tea. Parking was 80 USD per night. They do their best to upsell this way.

Good pool and location is great for accessing the locality but also the rest of central BA. The main bar in the evening is buzzy and has good live acts.

The room offered (a duplex suite - part of an "upgrade" offered by Booking.com to Genius members) wasn't worth taking. I should have booked the room i originally wanted (park view). All the duplex suite consists of is a dark room on first floor with TV and then steps up to the bathroom/bedroom. If you had kids you might value the extra space, but i would have preferred having actual city or park views. Some of the hotel is also showing its age (frayed carpets/outdated sockets etc).

    Very nice staff

Air conditioning running water (leaking). Room doesn’t have a very good blackout and looks smaller than the announcement (it says it would be 35m2 but I don’t believe it is).

it's located in puerto madero area but it's a little far walking distance though to the restaurants; and there is no much going on around there, there is a little convenience store 1/2 block away and a pharmacy 2 blocks away, and that's about it. the hotel is beautiful, no wonder it's a philips stark design and arquitecture is beautfiul as well, the foods are good, the tango Rojo is a huge plus as it's inside the hotel, the lobby bathroom is beautiful as well, even it's a pretty dark decoration but in general with beautiful design and decor. everything was clean, bed comfy with great pillows and nice comfy sheet with good amenity.the concierge was excellent, the service was great and efficient, immediate.we arrange a city tour with Mario who was a real excellent tour guide, the van during the tour was great as well.the hotel transfer was great all the way to pick us up at a longer distance airport San Fernando, and i had no problem changing the pick up time at the last minute. the service was excellent.

The bathrooms are so small and tight for two people, we had a 70m2 suite but i didn't know or not noticed that the bedroom was at the 2nd floor and the living room on the first floor, which really had no use for us but it was not really showed or specified in the picture during the booking. To get to the 2nd floor, we had to climb a narrow stair which was really not very nice and can't imagine for people that has bad knees. i wouldn't book this type of suite again at Faena, even it is bigger on size but actually the room is small. our room had the street view, in overall we paid for a bigger room but didn't really enjoy it, the rate on booking was not breakfast included, and it was a much higher rate comparing with four season, Alvear and other 5stars hotel. the corridors of the hotel are darks, anyway, i felt the price value was not worth for the room we paid.

The service is top notch and worthy of a 5 star accommodation. The breakfast is excellent as is the Italian restaurant. The dinner with the tango show is good but nothing special considering the price. The tango show itself is outstanding. We did not use other amenities as we spent only one night.

The rooms are very poorly designed. They are technically large but with a lot of useless space. The bed and bathroom are shoved next to each other in one corner. The rest of the space, well over half the total, has only the closet and a small table with a couple of chairs. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed. The night tables are tiny due to the lack of room on the sides. The room phone literally takes up the entire surface on the one side. The all glass bathroom is within 2 feet of the bathroom door. There is an awkward to use curtain for privacy on the bed side. The bathroom is tiny. There is no door separating the commode, just a partial glass divider. The glass enclosed shower is on the other side. The single sink is small and shallow. Water gets everywhere. All enclosed in one small compartment. Virtually impossible for two people to occupy at the same time. In short, the room design is a big drawback.

Our trip started with the airline losing our baggage, and the staff were incredibly helpful with getting it to us from the airport. They spoke excellent English, which was very helpful for navigating all our issues!
