Pros +
- Great location to all major sites of BA
- The staff was very helpful and the location was very good for my trip.
- Wifi
Cons -
- WiFi connection was horrible! It didn’t even work once.. asked staff and they said probably lots of people using it at once.. well not true.. I tried at all other hours and it never worked. Had to go out to restaurants to use WiFi
- It is an old building, with carpets on the floor. The bathroom could have been better.
- There was a system error and the price wasn’t right. We were informed to cancel our booking 2 days before our check-in. We already booked our flight and it said non-refundable so we emailed them to check and they should be responsible for their system error. But no reply but got an auto email saying to check-in online with our personal details. We got confused so physically went there to check. Arrived around 1:30pm and they told us to wait. We waited for more than 30 minutes and said the price was wrong and we had to pay more. They wasted our time. We had to look for another hotel. And they didn’t even say sorry for their system error. Very unfriendly and don’t know how to deal customers. I don’t recommend this place.

Clean, affordable, central, friendly English speaking staff.
Some issues with water drainage in the bathroom ( issue resolved w a change of the room). Wifi was not working. You need power outlet adapter/voltage converter since this hotel has only Argentinian outlets ( some more expensive ones have multiple kinds side by side w Argentinian one).
Location
Breakfast was bare minimum. Reservation via booking.com was not passing through to the hotel so we took a lot of time for the check in. Then 2 days after we left the hotel we got an email from them that we didn’t checked in. They forgot our airport transfer so the morning of the flight we were on the street trying to catch random taxi
location
old facilities, lighting
Location close to town centre BUT
The noose on the street and when the staff were changing over djofy or delivering stiff for breakfast top lpud
Beautiful wooden floor, everything was working perfectly
Shower was too hot
Nice place, clean and quiet
Ac too strong but manage with the employee.
Staff were always helpful. Location is quite good and a reasonable walk (or subway ride) to some good sites like the cathedral.
Wi-Fi was often rather slow.
The location was great, the staff were friendly
The air con in the room is really loud and controlled at reception. They don't seem to like to have it on all the time. Breakfast was minimal. The hotel smelt musty and bleachy. I'm not sure how you so that both at once.
Good
Breakfast was just soft croissant (which was nice) and one cup of coffee, no fruits or bread rolls..
Very close to city center, train and bus station
Breakfast is the same every day, quite boring.
location was good. staff is very kind.
wifi isn’t strong.
I never used their dinning room.
Pictures in BOOKING.COM shows hiigh table with laptop for customers : non existentTelephone in rooms only receives calls, unable to use for calls even if you want to pay.
The location is pretty good. Other than that there isn't anything to like really. Everything else is either bad or mediocre.
Wi-Fi was very slow and unstable. Furthermore, for some reason when I was inside my room my 4G Claro internet didn't work because the signal was too weak. Outside it worked fine.Another thing I didn't like was that if you exit at night for an hour and then decide to come back there won't be anyone to open the hotel door and let you in. You'll have to wait for a while. The shampoo packets are difficult to open. There was no room bar. The room was old but acceptable. However the key had the tendency to stop working. It happened to me 4 or 5 times, and each time I had to go down and get my key recharged so that it opens the door.
Location was goog. Also they let us leave our bags befor check-in.
Breakfast was a couple of medialunas, toasted stale bread (cold), jam, butter and a small glass of juice. Rather diluted coffee. It was rather loud to sleep,I don't know whether we could hear neighbors or people on the street. Almost no-one spoke English.
Value , Location
Hotel needs updating, old facility
Rustic old fashioned hotel full of charm and atmosphere of times gone by. Nice to see that people still keep these hotels alive. I asked to change rooms after the first night out of three, and was given a bigger and better one with a view to the street - which wasn't all that noisy at night after all. Nice touch.
The WiFi in the rooms is absolutely terrible. However, if you don't mind working in public, the signal in the foyer and the dining area is pretty decent. The breakfast is a sad chapter in Argentinian cuisine. On Saturday and Sunday there wasn't even bread, only some artificial orange liquid type Zumo passing for juice, a couple of medialunas (croissants with syrup). The coffee was decent. But really, this is what you get all over the country as far as I'm concerned. I left the country and am now back in Peru, where food is fiesta. Healthy, varied, affordable and very tasty!
Leaving the room, we finally got some breakfast at least, thanks to othet staff members.
The reception desk man, took too much time for registration, more than half an hour to give us the remote and card-key to enter, he charged us more and he refused us breakfast. Disappointing and unprofessional.
