It is close to the river and close to civic facilities. The views were expansive. Overall, just a really good experience.

I loved the staff! What makes Hotel Dnipro-- and all of Ukraine so great-- are her people. Hotel Dnipro is no exception. The staff was constantly attentive to our whole group's needs and provided us with excellent care and assistance at every turn. Couldn't recommend more highly. Also the hotel is in a seriously fantastic location. Just steps from the Maidan, it is truly an excellent place to call home while you're in Kyiv.

There is not electric kettle for coffee or tea, there is nor iron and ironing board in the room!

Excellent location directly near the Maidain. Great for our group for meetings in the Panorama Room in the mornings. Rooms were petite but not absurdly small. The location cannot be beat at this price. Excellent shelter is available if you wish to have one. Staff was reasonably friendly. Breakfast was decent. Overall a great price and good option for the location, with a shelter.

Slightly dated, but overall, the charm made up for it. I would stay here again-- in fact stayed twice during my Ukrainian journey. I found the place to be overall delightful.

It's a Soviet hotel but everything is new and renovated

Breakfast was poor with little selection, it is not as reviews mention it to be superb although it us in the top roof with view to the city

Beds were a little hard and the room is a typical hotel room in Ukraine, nothing special. But the staff were very friendly and the food in the rooftop restaurant, paired with the view, was great.

The view from the restaurant is the only saving grace. And location. Everything else is a HARD pass.

They must have renovated our floor from a wooden barn room floor. Creaky wood and uncomfortable angles on the floor. A suite that was 3 times the cost of a normal room, that looked like they turned a supply closet into a bedroom. Despite asking multiple times (I was sick with a kidney infection), and I asked front desk, cleaners, etc, for more water or even the 2 bottles of water they promised were included in the daily rent - we received none. When asked for double the second day, they stated they could not provide more than 2. Then did not. Cleaning room was adjacent to the suite, like through a door that looked like a murder room, attached to the living room.Layout was.. disappointing. No view, 4th floor (listed as amazing room and great facility with great view.. meh, laughable.)Service was horrid. Breakfast was 1/2 gone (like 1/2 of steamer trays empty, regardless of time I came. They had probably enough for a few mice at the start of breakfast, but did not refill, did not assist, despite 2 staff at bar and 2 staff in back) and disappointing, and thats saying something because I like Ukranian breakfast. Juices non-existent, plenty of pitchers for them, just no re-filling. Juice itself was a pre-mix cocktail of sugar and terribleness. Reminded me of American Hotel 6 - foods inedible, coffee is diesel, and the juice is basically just a shot of sugar to the face instead of Uzvar, or any of the fresh juices Ukraine prides themselves on.

Very friendly staff, excellent location, great breakfast and clean rooms. Great views of the Kyiv!

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the hotel has the potential to be a top-notch hotel.

The staff! Surly, miserable, and completely unaccomodating! They are rule followers, which may be due to poor management and soviet style authority ŵhich they need to lose if they are ever going to join the West.We had delivered trucks to troops and needed a shower before getting a train to Poland. They had rooms available but only 12.00 - 14.00. Otherwise, they wanted full payment for a room and additional payment for an early check-in.Considering business is low due to the war, you would have thought they would be more accommodating.I won't be back! Though I will come back to Ukraine..

The location of the hotel is very good. It is in a central place. And close to everywhere. The rooms are clean. The reception staff is very polite and helpful in every matter. It is positive that there is an ironing room.

It would be good if my room window looked out to the front. I would like to have a bathtub instead of a shower cabin in the bathroom. I also think it would be good if there was a place in the ironing room to hang the clothes we iron.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. A lovely buffet breakfast. The view is fantastic. The location excellent.

What we ordered in the restaurant was not very tasty.

One of the best hotels in Kyiv hands down. Everything was perfect — a comfortable bed, spacious room, bathroom filled with everything you need (and then some). Bathtub. And of course, the amazing view looking out into the European Square. (From the restaurant floor, you can even see the Dnipro River in the distance.) Breakfast was excellent and not overpriced. It was a pleasure to spend some time there, and I'll certainly be back when I can.

Spacious suite and great staff. Great view. Easily located to restaurants and shopping.
