Cons -
- The property and room its self was very dirty, the bathroom in our room was really mouldy the carpets in the corners were thick with dust and the room in general was very dusty and looked like it’s never had a proper deep clean. The staff were nice and tried to rectify the cleanliness in our room due me having allergies and asthma but when we returned nothing had really changed.
- Not being told,1 week before we had 3 scam calls regarding the hotel, so when we arrived to see it closed, we were a bit shocked
- stains, marks and unclean in places

Location
The staff - manager i dealt with was extremely rude and dismissed a safety observation I made.
Price and staff were good.
Place could do with a bit of TLC but for the price, you can't complain
Nice inexpensive hotel right on the promenade.
Gap in the locked door was a bit worrying.
The only good point was the location.
Breakfast could have been better. Continental breakfast - no croissant, meats, cheese. Shame the lift wasn’t in working order. The en-suite was not well thought out - the toilet in the corner behind the sink which was sticking out -awkward.
Good location , comfortable beds good size rooms, heater was available in the room ( but it had a missing leg)
Very dated , shower was very dirty and flooded the bathroom floor, windows in bedroom wouldn’t close , , broken glass panels in a door in the hall way which didn’t look safe , we were very unhappy that we booked a family room even tho we were 2 adults and a new born baby and we were made to pay a £10 charge for the baby upon arrival, we decided to stay a extra night in Llandudno but booked a different hotel for a similar price a few doors down , there was also no WiFi in the rooms
Comfortable bed
Not very clean food hygiene rating 1
Handy Clean Good Staff Good Value only complaint room too warm
The location.
Literally everything else. It smelled bad. Was shabby. The mattress was probably 20 years old. The bed frames had been repaired with MDF sheets and there were screws sticking out. The curtains were pointless and filthy and hanging off the wall. There was a hole in the window. The shower was mouldy and the shower head was hanging off the ceiling. Drawers were broken and sharp. There was a generator noise on constant outside the room and it sounded like there was pigeons in the room. The hallway stunk of body odour and Mould. I asked for a cot twice but when I got back to my room to put my child to bed there wasn’t one. Although I’m glad. We left and went to another hotel that was £10 more but 1000% cleaner than this place. Not fit or safe for small children.
View of sea, the gulls were funny at the window.
Only one thing, a separate table for the kettle would be better. I had to plug it onto bedside table as flex would not reach anywhere else.
Perfect location right opposite the promonade and close to all amenities Room was clean although very small but considering what we paid we can't complain on the space. Staff we met were lovely.
Shower had 2 heads one above was not working so used the lower one but was very low and could not be raised. Took long time for water to leave the shower tray although the shower itself was Great temperature and pretty powerful.
It's cheap and cheerful. Friendly staff, meat free breakfast was good and perfect location. Always upgrade here for a sea view room.
You get what you pay for. You can't pay £40 bed and breakfast for 2 people and then complain. Only issue, was all the fire doors were wedged open. This needs addressing by the owners. They are there for a reason.
Fantastic view from our room simple breakfast but good
Stairs and landing needs work looks dirty shame could be nice and no dressing table in sea view room when I asked i was told they could not afford one
Not a lot very poor hotel needs gutting and complete makeover
Everything the hotel is dirty and sleeping with pigeons cooing in the ceiling above the bed is not great
Fantastic location, great sea view room, breakfast and staff were lovely
Dated facade and communal areas
Room was great king-size bed warm and cosy coffee and tea available plenty of towels also very clean
The price was unbeatable. Bed was comfortable and room adequate.
No WiFi in rooms only in the lounge downstairs.
The location is fabulous. Breakfast is great. Price was really good.
The rooms are not clean at all. The drains are not fit for purpose. I had to buy bleach to clean the shower .
