The Central Hotel

The location was great.

The hotel is in massive need of a renovation. You could feel the rafter boards in the bathroom. We slept in our clothes with our hoodies on. The duvet had rips in it and stains on it. No wear to put our belongings. Carpet needs replacing.

The staff and owner bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable and compensate for the fact it was NOT mobility-friendly.

Advertised LIFTS, sometimes they worked but the way hotel is configured you STILL HAD TO NAVIGAYE 2 flights of stairs after getting off lifts ... No handicap/mobility bars in shower. Very dangerous.

The sitting area, the location, the dining room, and our hotel room itself was all lovely.

Location is very good. But frankly there are about another fifty hotels/guest houses along the beach strip that probably offer the same sea view and same proximity to the ocean. The staff members are very friendly and helpful which was the most positive part of the stay.

Several things: 1) cleanness: we found blood stains on the pillow covers, blankets, bedsheets, which was very gross. The staff immediately changed our beds after we informed them. But, the next morning we found that there was also blood stains on the other bed (we had a twin room), as well as on the NEW sheets on the first bed… we gave up… something is really problematic about their laundry supplier…2) facilities: some small things could make a huge difference, for example, there is no shower caddy at the shower so my shampoos, razor, etc, kept falling down. The toilet and sink are so close to each other we had to sit sideways… 3) the bed is not comfortable. If you are a poor sleeper like me, you might have body aches in the morning. 4) breakfast was okay but not great. The breakfast staff lady was very nice though.

The room was exceptionally clean. Really, really clean. The staff were extremely welcoming. I accidentally overstayed check out time which I felt bad about but they put me at ease about it. Of course the location is fabulous.

Loved the sea view room excellent couldn't fault the room clean and plenty big enough bed comfortable.The Staff were very help full would definitely stay there again and there was free parking at the hotel which was good

As always this Hotel will go above & beyond for you anything to make your stay a good one, we decided last minute to see if we could add another night onto our 2night stay, and they sorted everything out very prompt, so we got our 3 nights. We did have to move rooms, but we got another one of our favourites so happy days. ?Parking at hotel avail, room for mobility scooter from back entrance by carpark, lift, friendliness staff & management 10/10

The room was a standard twin at the rear and was fine for the price but the views are so good from the front, I recommend a sea view room for the extra money.

Beautiful room with a fantastic view, very clean and extremely comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the bar and lounge area very nice. Staff great , the young man on reception was very polite and helpful

Rude staff, deceiving pictures.. they have 4 different types of double rooms and when choose , there is no indication of those options, finally at tge mercy of their "so called available rooms". Could suffocate in their top attic rooms, so tiny than advertised.. when asked about staff, so rude and defensive.. Booking.com is so helpful inl solving the request still, they are very actively working on this and my trip ended with ridiculous hotel yesterday..

Comfy bed, warm room, helpful staff, very clean, good location, on site bar, breakfast available if required & free car parking. Very nice hotel.
