The Hut

Pros +

• We liked that it was located in a nice and peaceful location.

Cons -

• We didnt like the fact that there were loose geese and ducks all around and were not sectioned off from the hut which actually resulted in my girlfriend having a panic attack as they quickly move towards us when trying to get back to the hut in a viscous manner on the evening we arrived. We understand this facility is situated on a farm and more of a glamping experience to camping in a tent or staying in a hotel, however, although the hut in general was well presented upon close inspection there were loads of unpleasant insects to which that evening the roof in the hut seemed to have had an infestation of spiders of all sizes crawling around and on the bed. Unfortunately, due to coming back later on in the evening we could see with our flashlights they were everywhere and this made us too uncomfortable to actually sleep the night, resulting in us having to find another accommodation last minute. We had booked to stay for 2 nights and we felt so uncomfortable after that experience that we could not return and did not sleep either nights.
