Pros +
- Brilliant staff with good customer service. The room was spacious, comfortable beds.
- Most staff were very helpful
- Good food and friendly staff.
Cons -
- The bathroom is old-fashioned and a bit worn out. It would need a touch of renovation.
- It’s in disrepair. Mildew in the bathroom, tiles coming away from the wall behind the sink. I think someone had a tap dancing competition in my room. I’ve never seen as many cracked tiles in my life. It’s supposed to be non smoking but you could smell smoke down the corridors. The night porter was too busy watching TV to do anything about it
- Rooms need a lot of TLC and updating. A lot of niggling problems such heating issues, taps too big for sinks and trip switch going off.

It was a very friendly hotel clean with very nice food
Always a pleasure to stay would recommend it to anyone.
Had a problem with electric sockets, could not dry hair so could not shower in the morning as we left .I am sure it was a blip as been there 2 times before and no problem .
Great Breakfast, good choices and very helpful staff
Easy parking. Room was large and had small table and easy chairs to sit and relax in
No bath in bathroom
Excellent location with plenty of private parking. Room was spacious and clean, decoration and condition average but very acceptable for the budget. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. Bar area with good choice of draught beer.
The location for our needs was perfect
Some staff members were very rude, the room was cold, sheets were ripped and there were cobwebs up the walls. Rooms could do with a refurbishment. Awoken the next morning to a bizarre situation of an alarm going off a young woman fromReception banging down the door asking about pressing red/orange buttons on the toilet. Don’t get me wrong I am happy she checked we were safe however when I asked what it was all about she walked away. Other young girl on reception seemed to have a better handle on the situation and was the nicest staff member there.
Booked in but had to leave because hotel had no electricity over the storm just put us out and did not try and get us alternative accommodation
Really enjoyed stay my brother in law had a birthday ? so brought in cake staff bought out and sang happy birthday, really recommend.
Nothing looking forward to heading back.
Room was clean food was amazing the staff were lovely will definetly be back soon
There's nothing bad i can say
Excellent food both in the evening and breakfast nice location.. staff very friendly and helpful.. in all definitely a 3 * plus hotel
There is no lift so advise if you need lower room not a negative just advice .. we booked because of bath option shown on site but only got a shower again not a negative but if needed one make aware when booking
Staff and good value food
Had team boxers staying there. Purpose of staying was to get the young lads good rest for the early boxing competition in Gilford. I had 3 family rooms. Most of the night up to 3am in morning there was something banging on roof so we got little to no sleep in room 209. In room 109 there was a room nxt door with tv up full volume until 4am. After making complaint to reception after we bought 8 dinners and 8 breakfasts she went on to charge me £1 for few slices of toast extra.
A nice place/surrounding. Had food and it was delicious
A lift to the second floor would be helpful
The room was so spacious, the bathroom was also spacious with a shower top in bath ? the room was always warm and the water was hot. There was coffee/tea in the room snd toiletries provided ?
The lady at reception asked me for £50, which they did not tell me about prior to my coming
Spacious roomsThe blonde lady on reception was amazing. We had to stay past the check out time and she was very accommodating
Bed was comfortable, room was large so plenty of space.
The toilet either hadn't been cleaned, or a staff member has used it before I got there, as was skid marks still in the toilet. There were nails left beside the bath tub. The WiFi was really poor and kept dropping off.
Glamps coming soon & the staff were very cheerful helpful & professional ?
The staff were so friendly and accommodating really good staff . Especially receptionist .Bed very comfortable and spacious rooms. We enjoyed our nights stay .It was perfect for my daughter and I to relax and chill
The hotel is dated and they are trying to update it . But that's why the cost of a nights stay is so low .
