The Enniskillen Hotel and Motel

Location

The room was cold, without hot water, noisy, the breakfast was poor and the food was cold, the tables and floor of the dining room were dirty. Noisy, strange atmosphere, the mattress in the room was very old and not suitable for a good night's sleep. I asked for a double bed and they improvised two single beds with a sheet covering them.

Nice location. Hotel is rated 4* I would say it is more a 3*

Unfortunately there was no hot water for our shower. Appeared to be a fault. Shower was also dirty. There was also a balloon in our room and would indicate room had not been cleaned appropriately prior to our stay given this was still there

Lovely room, very comfortable, great breakfast. I love when a place thinks about small little details like tissues and glasses for water in the room instead of just mugs. If I was to be very picky, I would have loved to have a pen in the room.

Would be nice to have a pen on the desk to write with

Breakfast v basic staff was lovely v friendly Breakfast table variety v basic pushed up against a wall

Hotel carpet v dirty and smell in lift was terrible carpet not really used in lifts carpet in dining room v dirty chairs covered in tea stains snd food carpets on stairs all stains

Bedroom

Too hot in room did not seem a way to turn off heat. We could hear noise from tv next door and hear voices and coughing. Walls were paper thin

The room was nice and comfortable

Our room was very warm with no heating thermostat to turn down also our room was beside hall door which was banging from people going in and out

Wasn’t enough dtaff. Sometimes you had to wait a while to find d a staff member. They were excellent when they arrived

Location it’s very close to the centre

A little dull, breakfast wasn’t great and they had ran out of Smirnoff vodka even though they weren’t busy

The staff and the girl who helped me sort breakfast when I was late,really helpful and friendly.

Everything was perfect. The lady at the reception was super helpful and kind, and all staffs were the same at breakfast! And the breakfast menu was so good for the money value. Room was clean, warm, especially the bathroom was nice with a good shower. Made our whole journey perfect. Hot and good pressure of shower helped us relax after Stairway to heaven hikes. Would definitely comeback!

Booked some time ago for NYE. On arrival informed only breakfast slots remaining were 7am to 8.15 which didn't suit us as my partner was doing park run and couldn't eat beforehand.We were not made aware when booking or beforehand that we were required to book a slot for breakfast.Despite the rate including breakfast we were not offered any compensation or alternative. We paid full price including breakfast despite not getting breakfast.On arrival we were also informed dinner was booked out. Again, we were not made aware we needed to book ahead for this as hotel guests.Our shower was tepid at best and could not get any warmer. And despite our best attempts it was cold showers before checkout.The free coffee machine didnt work in the motel and was just boiling water and sachets. Despite this there were no cups so we could not use.All in all very disappointed. We had stayed before in the main hotel with our dog and had a good experience hence we booked again for NYE. Unlikely to be back again now.
