    • I absolutely love staying at the Garddfon Inn—it’s my favorite place to stay in Y Felinheli. The location is simply perfect, right by the sea, with stunning sunsets that make every evening feel special. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. One of the best parts is how conveniently the inn is connected to the pub. The pub has such a fun and lively atmosphere, serving delicious food with plenty of variety. The staff are professional, friendly, and always so welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The location is also ideal for exploring the area. It’s just a short bus ride to amazing attractions like Caernarfon Castle or the charming town of Menai. For the quality, hospitality, and unbeatable setting, the Garddfon Inn is excellent value and a place I always look forward to returning to.

    • Restaurant was closed the evening we arrived., although a booking had been made previously.
    • Pillows are a little lumpy but could just be a personal preference thing as I'm used to a memory foam pillow.

Location was perfect. For a small place there was a number of places to eat and drink. Food at Garddfon was excellent and well used. Waterfront was beautiful and coastal path meant good walking routes along the coast. The working port provided interest with a great cafe and pub with live music. So many places to visit , all within easy reach. A separate entrance to rooms meant you could come and go as you pleased. Plenty of free parking .

Quiet, clean and comfortable.Toiletries and refreshments included Friendly staff1030am checkout time

Really friendly staff and great location. Pub was nice and decor of room was pleasant.

Window in the room was painted shut and bathroom radiator was always on so it was hard to regulate the temperature of the room. No WiFi signal in the room - free WiFI was advertised on booking.com. Tea and coffee facilities weren't replenished during the stay, so we had to wash up the cups ourselves. Parking was nearby public parking so it was free but not guaranteed to be available.

    Restaurant very good

Price of room seemed expensive as breakfast wasn't provided.Paid more for Seaview room which was quite small

Staff very friendly and helpful. Has an evening meal at the pub which was good. Perfect location for what we wanted. Good idea having a separate entrance for the rooms.

Could hear every time the person in next room went to the toilet or moved in the bedroom. Also noisy whenever anybody walked passed the room door.

    Beautiful location

There was an electric fan (not in our room) running all night which was rather annoying. Also there was noise late at night coming from room above

Location excellent and the Pub is great. Good beers, great atmosphere, the coast is the pub garden. The restaurant food is a wide ranging selection of great dishes. Service is attentive and quick and most importantly friendly.Room was good with only a few comment in the box below

The bedroom was perfectly good in most respects, although a little small as you might expect from a terrace of tiny fisherman's cottages. It was clean and nicely furnished, with a few local touches in the decor. The bathroom was modern and clean and spacious enough, but was let down by the lighting, which although might inspire a romantic mood, is not so good for putting on makeup etc. A lit mirror would be a major improvement given the nearby shaver socket power supply is available. I have to admit this is a measure by which my wife and I judge all rooms, as she think it's blokes who design them rather than ladies.More hangers in the wardrobe would be good given no hooks elsewhere on doors (not a bad thing) possibly more important in autumn winter season.

A convenient location for an overnight stay.

The room was a little on the small side. No local breakfast facilities.

    6SelwynPosted on: 9-26-2024

Very friendly, helpful staff and great food in the pub downstairs.Lovely view.Clean.

It's over a pub, so noisy at night.Carpets, while vacuumed, were in need of a deep clean: they gave an undeservedly poor first impression.
