- Polite staff. This is a pub, hotel is misrepresentation
- Quite, comfortable, good value for money
- Breakfast was very basic...⁹
Cons -
- The weekend noise from the local rugby players kept us awake. This is a former coaching Inn(pub) , every footstep is heard.
- No yogurt, fruit or extra toast was offered.
- Hairs in the bed, very thin pillows, shower ridiculous - had to move around very awkwardly to try to shower fully, and the door is very hard to open/close, barely enough shower gel for one person let alone two, bathroom door lock doesn't work, the furniture is very unstable and uneven, the only cleaning that was done was a change of bin bag and the breakfast was just mediocre

The staff were lovely

Location was superb.
One of the beds was so old and worn that it akin to lying on a hammock. Other bed was fine. Floor boards were creaky and noisy when moving about. Walls were paper thin with a dividing door (locked) to the room next door. I could clearly hear the people in the adjoining room. This room (@£94) was very over priced.
Easy to locate. Good value for money. Exceptional staff. Enjoyed the food.
Breakfast was very good.Location excellent
Pillows could have been more comfortable
Bar and restaurant are fine and breakfast was good. Rooms are not very nice, old dated like need a good revamp. Rooms also cold so could have done with extra blanket. Floor is very creaky, to the point you can hear every movement from the other rooms. Expensive for what the rooms are like
Rooms need a good revamp. Also cold rooms
Dated but clean. Lovely staff. Very friendly and accommodating
Food very good, very nice location, nice service and personnel.
Old furniture, the beds are not very comfortable, noisy toilet.
The staff member who showed me to my room was very polite, He tolerated my efforts at speaking Welsh and carried my case up several flights of stairs, I also appreciated the free parking outside the front door,
I did not sleep at all on Tuesday night, The room was chilly and the bed was narrow. I was kept awake by loud and at times animated conversation between a man and a woman,
Staff was great
Room conditions was bad ,no heating overnight and kids were cold all night ,squeaky floor ,single bed broken and mattresses not comfortable , pillows smelling of dump and not freshly cleaned ,in my bathroom towel was ripped . Apart from staff which was brilliant and breakfast we had before checking out , we were quite disappointed about our stay.
Really good location with parking available, brillant staff, very clean and really nice breakfast (staff were all very friendly and professional)
Rooms a little dated
Great location, parking space, very tasty breakfast, nice staff, large room and bathroom, cleaned daily.
Very old beds and uncomfortable mattresses.
Passable
Very cold in the family room , I have with me the kids, very noisy, never come back
Nice bar, location
Dated rooms, old mattress
very good and friendly helpful staff.
toilet flush was so loud , didn t bother me ,but could have other travellers.
Breakfast. Dog friendly. Staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Not clean. Beds uncomfortable. Very dated.
not much
limited on street parking, room tired and extremely over priced. But sellers market, in. the area.
clean and tidy room. Nice welcoming staff. Breakfast was really good and filling.
The bed was rather worn as the matress seemed to have lost its strength somewhat, the room was fairly dated but still clean and useable, a few floorboards could do with attention. the water pressure on the shower gave a bit to be desired as when the pressure is low it doesnt run hot. Sadly not much in the way of parking as the beer garden has taken over the car parck at the rear meaning it was difficult to find space to park up, the only other thing was a very late and loud live music act in the car park on the saturday evening which kept me up much later than i had planned.
