Flagstaff Lodge

Great hotel with lots of character. The rooms were clean and comfy, they even had an elevator. The food was awesome. The staff super friendly. The parking lot is on a slant.

Quiet and staff was so kind and welcoming.

There were several flies in our room, possibly from open windows with no screens and they kept landing on us. There were about 7 of them and we had to get rid of each one.

A lovely, clean and cosy hotel. Breakfast was cooked to order, dinner was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The family room was spacious and beds were very comfortable..

Excellent location right off the motorway between Dublin and Belfast and next to a nice town called Newry.The rooms are spacious and clean.The staff is outstanding and makes you feel very welcome and at home.Special mention of Caroline who, one day when we left for daytrip too early for breakfast, so she made us coffee extra early and some sandwiches for the way.The food in the Bistro/restaurant was also very good and the bistro had a very nice ambience.We throughly enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend without reservations.

No swimming pool but cant have it all. Shower head doesnt come off or move up or down but not everyone needs it to.

Superb staff, welcoming atmosphere , rooms very comfortable and the cost is excellent . Just an excellent hotel to stay in, I was made incredibly welcome, check in to support with anything.. what makes this special is the way the staff go out of their way. Huge kudos to Caroline she is a rare gem. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing in the restaurant, servers, chef, quality 5 stars!. The live music atmosphere again wow 5 stars!! Definitely be back

The staff were absolutely amazing. We loved the waitress in the restaurant, and the night porter went above and beyond for my daughter. We were very grateful for the friendly and helpful staff at this hotel

Food was very good. Had a lovely dinner on Friday and the breakfast was also superb and great choice as well. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

Can't even say the weather as the sun was shining for the weekend we were there. Can't think of anything negative to say an this is the 2nd year we have stayed there.

I love the welcoming staff. The breakfast selection and standard of food is excellent. I stay here often for work purposes. It is such a comfortable and relaxing hotel that I love to return to time and time again.

Very enthuastic to get us to book for second night dinner ,but dinner was very nice and plenty of it ,that was great ,all in all good stay

Lovely, lively lady on check in( I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) she was absolutely fantastic to and with my little girl who was utterly delighted to take care of the whole process for us! She was asked what she'd like for breakfast and given the directions to the room and led as off absolutely thrilled to have been given all that power? Thank you❤️

I have stayed at the Flagstaff on previous occasions and always enjoyed my staff, the friendliness and warmth of the staff and the unfussy way it is managed.

WiFi was a bit hit and miss and the TV programme choices were a little limited if you just want a quiet night in your room.
