- No parking but the car park next door was £4 for 24 hours.
- Zilch!. Nothing at all to say negative here.

Location was good, clean, comfy room.Staff really nice.Great pub with live muy which we enjoyed.Tha breakfast was lovey, plenty of it.Went to the castle, right behind the pub and all shops restaurants on doorstep. We will return.
Zilch!. Nothing at all to say negative here.
Essentially a B&B room but included a kitchenette with microwave and sink. The door opened to the outside, which was very convenient for taking our dog outside (plenty of room to exercise around castle, with dog bins on hand).
As stated in other reviews, the room is part of an inn and consequently there is some noise. We didn't hear any noise after 11pm during a Sunday to Wednesday stay (just before Christmas so the bar was busy).
Breakfast was very good. The location was good. Some of the staff were friendly.
Big problem was the bed. It was tilted at an angle, so everytime I moved in the night I woke up. Terrible night's sleep. When I reported this in the morning to one of the managers all I got was "I'll report it". The bar also closed early, I asked before we went out to dinner what time it closed and was told "around 10:30", when we returned at 9:00pm they were closing the bar, I was able to persuade them to serve us a drink, but whilst we sat there the staff were rearranging the furniture and clearing up around us. Not relaxing at all. The bedroom was very small, and there wasn't much room in the bathroom at all.
Fabulous authentic pub, very old. Thoughtful touches. We were able to get a drink & or lunch at the pub - they recommended a local restaurant for dinner. Super breakfast - really tasty and great value. Very close to many historic sites, staff were pleasant and friendly.
I adjusted the heating & made it too warm at night - but that was my fault! Stairs were quite steep, be aware that you're getting your own bags upstairs.
This was not my first stay at the Tuns. As always a great stay and a lovely large breakfast in the morning. When staying in Chepstow I will always try the Tuns first.
My room was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the breakfast was very good
Evening meals not available although there were plenty of options close by
Wonderfully comfortable bed and a spacious room that was well decorated. Great staff and good food for breakfast.
Stairs were a bit steep when bringing luggage up and down, but expected in an older building such as this.
Quaint, comfortable, rustic charm in the perfect location with convenient parking.Staff was helpful and friendly going out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and more than expected.
We had the Henry Marten room at the top. Lots of stairs but great view to the Castle, great tub and room. Very comfortable Feels somewhat recently refurbished. Nice patio outside, good bicycle storage.
Located right next to Chepstow Castle. Very clean, easily accessible room on the ground floor. Microwave in room, which was very handy. Really enjoyable stay. 24 hour parking available adjacent to Inn.
A mini fridge would be handy, especially in the Summer, to cool drinks down, etc.
Comfy bed quiet room in house next door belonging to pub

The room we stayed in was very good and perfect for a weekend away, easy access, clean! Staff has been so kind to us.
If you like quiet places, the hotel is also a pub so there is noise until a bit later (no later than midnight)
Outstanding breakfast - Eggs Benedict and fresh grapefruit! Lovely staff, very comfortable room, walking distance to everything. Our favorite stay of the trip
The staff was very good and the breakfast was exceptional! The room was well equipped with water, coffee and tea. We loved the vibe of the hotel!
Our room was on the ground floor and the wiz of the cars and trucks going by was a bit much, but the historic building we were in made it understandable.
Comfy clean room with nice shower. Friendly, professional team. Great location. Also went to Panevino Italian restaurant for nice dinner on the river.
This was a great place to stay - adjacent to the pub it felt beautiful and a real treat to be there. The staff could not have been more helpful. So wonderful to walk down the hall to see the castle out of the window!
Great location, friendly staff and fab breakfast! Room was large and had great views!
Table for tea & coffee needs to be larger - having kettle on floor was not convenient. Also, the utility box on the floor underneath the rug needs more padding!
