The property is about 12 mi from the nearest airstrip in the town of Puerto Jimenez, a short 50 minute flight from Costa Rica’s San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). Driving from SJO to Lapa Rios Eco Lodge takes about 7 hours.

Please note the property is located on a ridge which requires uphill walking (about 200 steps from lowest bungalow to the dining area).
