- The location and a reasonable price. My room was good, no issues. About average for what you get in Costa Rica

- Great location! On the beach and in the jungle, lots of monkeys, easy walk to town. Definitely the closest hotel to the beach in town. Very friendly and helpful staff, they helped with booking tours and getting our covid tests
Cons -
- The restaurant was not open on 2 of the 3 days I was there. But it didn't look like a place I would have gone anyway
- The hotel was under construction for the first 4 days of our stay. they were banging and sawing above our room on the second floor between 8:30am-2:30pm. I complained about the noise and they still tried to work the next day.
- The restaurant isn't great. Breakfast was decent but avoid the fish tacos and pizza. Lighting in the room was all overhead (I'm very sensitive to light) I would have loved a lamp or two. Otherwise no complaints

The location was great
The hotel was under construction for the first 4 days of our stay. they were banging and sawing above our room on the second floor between 8:30am-2:30pm. I complained about the noise and they still tried to work the next day.
