I enjoyed the sauna and the swimming pool. The staff are nice and friendly ?

The door is hard to open.

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and items to choose from.The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. There are a lot of amenities to choose from. The location is also a very short driving distance to the 'old town' center.

Our room set up was somewhat an odd configuration in having two bulkheads that overhung on an angle in two corners of the room. We often bumped our heads or shoulders. Also, some of the wallpaper appeared to be scratched or damaged.

Good facilities compared to some of the other hotels in the area. Clean and breakfast was excellent.

Rooms were big but a little basic. It was disappointing that we only got 1 pillow each and so was not particularly comfortable. Also the air-con didn’t seem to cool the room sufficiently as it was always quite warm at night

Great location for us. Spa was nice. Dinner was excellent and lots of choice at breakfast.

It seems that the architect who has designed the hotel building is a little bit mad. It took me three attempts to find the way from my room to the breakfast place. In the first attempt I have asked receptionist the way to the breakfast room. The lady has explained me very politely which corridor and which stairs I should take. I was walking corridors, climbing stairs up and down and then, seeing reflection behind the doors, I opened them…. just to face the very same receptionist from another angle in the very same room. We were both slightly surprised.I Wonder how many people has got lost in those corridors and stairs! ?)))))) And it is just a two floor building!Other than that – fine experience!

Nice quiet countryside location.

Lift was a long way from reception and need to drag suitcases up some stairs to get to it.

Great facilities - pool and gym are very good.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable and despite the efforts of staff to add duvets as further padding the end result was poor nights sleep. The shower pressure was poor and the enclosure dated - reported to staff but it was not evident that any maintenance personnel attended.

Rooms at front of hotel rather dated..Personally I wish I had paid for upgrade to newer part of hotel up towards reception

Service was helpful and food tasty. Pool and saunas also very nice.

The room was under the roof and had roof windows, it was very bright in the room starting 4am since it is summer. For this price it should have good blinds.Beds were terrible. Very noisy.

Value for money ratio very poor. In the restaurant high prices for the region. Hotel rather for weddings not for travel.

Breakfast was excellent. Garden and children’s play area. Balcony of our room.

No tissues, slippers or shower cap in room. Swimming pool only open from 9am. Were told off when we used it earlier but had not been told it was unavailable. The gym had similar opening times and you had to fill in a form to use it earlier - old fashioned approach! These issues could easily be rectified.

Very professional staff. I could not attend breakfast in time, but they were so kind to prepare me a lunchbox for the road. Food in the restaurant is very tasty and the staff there were very cordial.

The room design and hallways are a bit drab, could use a refresh. Also single-use slippers are always appreciated.

Disappointed and not what I booked

Room noisy during night, I booked a double bed room and was given 2 single beds.

Good selection for breakfast, plenty of parking space, good variety of facilities like spa, swimming pool, sauna, childrens play area, great place for parties and weddings. Bowling alley and pool table available in the club.

All facilities are aged!!! I’ve stayed in this place few times over few years and I can really see the downfall, yellowed toilet seats, greyed towels, worn carpets, worn mattresses. Half of facilities in the club is out of use or in poor condition, like the bowling alley which is pulling to one side. In general it is time for the owner to update or the stars will start slipping away. Staff doesn’t know how to create good atmosphere, very simple.
