What Guests Loved
Pros +
- I didn't like the hotel and it was not what it claimed to be in the booking.com description.
- I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Urbanport. The staff were welcoming, the room was great with perfect unhindered views of the ocean. In fact, I liked it so much that I rebooked 10 minutes after check-in for a stay in a few months time. Additionally, the public bath was very good with great views. I cant wait to stay here again.
- Good
Cons -
- The room was old and smelled like a damp basement. It took all night with the heat turned on 30C before the room warmed up. There were no restaurants or shops in the area, not even a convenience store. The booking.com description said there was a public bath at the facility. When I asked about it, I was told there was a public bath at another location down the street, not at this hotel. It was snowing and cold so I chose not to go out to another place. I was offered a discount on my room when I was not pleased about the bath false advertising situation. Another issue was that the hotel description said check in time was between 15:00 and 18:30 and check out time was between 10:00 and 11:00. I emailed the hotel three times before arriving to ask if I could check in later and check out earlier and I received no response.
