- Next to the train station, close to eateries and my room was comfortable. An onsen was a plus!
- The space we got is very big. The bathroom is superb. We're glad to stay here three nights and it save a lot of money.
- Location was excellent, right next to the train station. Staff was very friendly, helpful and respectful!
Cons -
- A staff member seemed distant. Maybe because he lacked confidence in speaking English.
- It might be hard to contact the owner as we didn't paid for the phone calling plan in our simcard. But if you can use the phone call in Japan, this might not be problem.
- Rooms did not have any extra pillows inside. They needed to be requested from the Front desk

Breakfast was filling, nutritious, well presented and varieties of options. Staff were friendly, attentative and helpful.
All staff struggled with basic English, however the google translator was very useful in getting past this issue. Once staff knew what we needed there was no end in the help they provided.
Near to bus and train stations.
Early check is not allowed (even by an hour) and the pillow is too soft.
It was a very nice hotel. They didn't have many options for food as the restaurant was closed and the cafe served food for very limited hours. I woke up to hearing someone's room door bell being constantly pressed early in the morning. Not sure why the rooms have doorbells I have never seen that at any hotel before. Otherwise a very nice stay.
Location - The bus drop off from Osaka is right outside the hotel. Two minute walk from train station. Five minute to walk to Bazaar Town (Department store/Supermarket.Restaurant - Great value and delicious Breakfast - 10/10Public bath - exceptionally cleanToiletries - Take what you use.Staff - Friendly and helpful
Perfect location. Right next to the train station. Onsen with top floor restaurant and bottom floor type cafe. Close to convenience store and Yoshinoya for good cheap food.
Central location. Next to station.Excellent breakfast. Wide variety of Japanese food at a food price.Helpful staffRestaurants nearby.
Tight room but okay in comparison to others I've booked in Japan.
The lobby and restaurant is pleasant, even though we didn’t eat at the restaurant.I can’t rate the bathhouse as I didn’t get to try it (the women’s times were a bit inconvenient for me).
It’s a bit old and dilapidated, so I think it’s a bit overpriced. The rooms have been reformed but it’s still old underneath. The building on the outside is the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen haha, but that doesn’t really matter. That area of Maizuru feels pretty sad and a bit depressing (not the hotels fault of course).
This hotel is right next to the train station. The staff were very helpful in suggesting where to go for dinner. We paid $7 US for each breakfast added on when we registered. Our room was roomy & our beds were comfy. I went to the public bath (Onsen) to relax. They only have 1 Onsen with separate hours for men & women.
Good hotel with nice staff. The twin room I had was quite big and I thought the Hotel was in a convenient location close to the station, supermarket and short walk to restaurants. The breakfast was reasonable for the price.
Straight across from station, big room, had mountain view, easy walk to explore temples behind town. Check in & out quick & not a machine..
Nothing not to like. Wld stay again on return trip.
Location right next to Nishi Maizuru station. Looks old but relatively clean. Thank goodness the restaurant in the hotel serves good food because there's not many food options nearby.
There is nothing interesting near the hotel and not many restaurants.
It’s quite near the station and bus stop so it is convenient to go to tourist attractions. And the arrange of the room makes it wider in usage.
Well it may not be a big deal but some hair sticks to the carpet.
It was a small but comfortable room. The pool was good, and the amenities were also great.
The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is directly next to the station, making it very convenient.
The property could do with refurbishment and the room had a bit of a stale smell to it - however easily resolvable by keeping the window open.
My room on the 6th floor was large, luminous, comfy and had great views of the city. This business hotel is a little older and the bathroom less perfect than in most of the chain hotels, but there is nothing to complain about really. Lighting could be better but the reading lights by the beds are perfect. Windows open. Less than 100 meters from the JR station. Spacious lobby.
It would be unkind to complain about anything. Breakfast not included.
The hotel is exceptionally located so close to Nishi-Maizuru station and especially to see all the eceptional local sites( exceptional temple compound) the area has to offer. It was great value for money for a single traveller, and the onsen was an added bonus.
It was value for money, albeit a little tiredOnly one pillow is a pain, but common in Japan, it seems for a single booking
Next to the train station (if needed). Car park has a deal with the hotel, so ¥300 / day is great.Nice staff, low level of English spoken, but manageable.Room is of decent size, comfortable bed.Recommended.
