    Pros +

    • Cozy classic hotel for travel connoisseurs. This is NOT a modern hotel, but a property with a history and culture. It is attached to a dance and art school and across from an incredible park that is full of activities and stadium for sports. It is walking distance from center city and feels very safe.
    • It is a cosy hotel very close to the city center. Amiable staff, comfortable beds, clean room and toilet, spacious shower cabin. Breakfast is various and delicious. There is a room for everybody to prepare coffee and tea 24/7. Parking place is OK.
    • The location is close to the city center and there is free parking at the site. Good breakfast. Staff was very welcoming and even if the room dont have fridge, the reception will gladly put some food in secured fridge if needed.

    Cons -

    • Our stay was too short!
    • It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.
    • There are no electric kettles in the room; they are available in a designated area. It's a bit of a shame, as I like to have something warm to drink at night. But I could have asked at the reception—perhaps they provide such equipment upon request

The room was of a very good standard, consistent with the class of the facility. It was very clean. All appliances worked properly, and the air conditioning was very quiet—its hum was barely noticeable.

There are no electric kettles in the room; they are available in a designated area. It's a bit of a shame, as I like to have something warm to drink at night. But I could have asked at the reception—perhaps they provide such equipment upon request

Staff was really nice. Free parking, good breakfast according to room price.

Bads was with spring mattress - so sleeping wasn't comfortable. Entrance is confusing for the first time.

We deffo recommend this hotel for a single night or a longer stay at Krakow - we got offered a clean and spacious room with 2 single beds, free wifi and a private free parking. 24/7 reception, friendly staff and unlimited breakfast included. Tea and coffee making facilities ( bean to cup coffee maker, not en suite but at the floor) made us feel very welcome!

Hotel Polonez was decent enough for a three star venue. The building is apparently converted from some other function, but it is not a problem, room had quite new furniture and was decent enough, so was the bathroom.

Cost was not in line with the quality offered. When this hotel cost was nearly PLN 500, I could get an Ibis next to railway station, closer to the Old Town, at PLN 350 for the same dates. I chose Polonez exclusively due to location being close to the event I attended, but generally this hotel wasn't worth the price. I do have two specific complaints though. One is that when I entered my room, the temperature inside was 26.5 degrees C. It's good to have a functional heating system in the winter, but COME ON...Second was really underwhelming breakfast, where the food was not replenished 40 minutes before the end.

Good location and great staff. Only a 15-minute walk to the main market square. There is a free parking. The breakfast is good and varied.

    The mattress could be better.

Really close to the city center, free parking, cheap and clean! And it is located directly in the sleeping spot of Krakow ravens, that was an amazing experience!!!

Breakfast bread was like one to two days old. Not good.

Very helpful staff, very good location (near the universitary campus, a park vis-a-vis, 10 minutes walk to the centre), private parking and free (maybe too small, but we could park in the campus for the first night, with the receptionist’s help),all very clean, free coffee and tea all the time near the reception, two bottles of water for free in the room, big room, big bathroom, A/C. Breakfast was very good, with surprises every day, local products and foods. Everything was OK.

Maybe some smell of old, probably from the carpet. Nothing really bothering.

Absolutely lovely small hotel. Beautiful decorations that include a miniature of a Krakow castle and traditional Polish clothes. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Clean and spacious (for one person) room with two beds and a powerful and modern air conditioner (no upcharge for using it, which is great!!). Very good and clean (albeit a bit small, but whatevs) bathroom with hairdryer for free. I slept through breakfast, but I'm sure it would have been great as well. :D There is also a space with an electric kettle to boil water and coffee and tea for free for those who need their morning hydration and energy. ;) The hotel is right by a big beautiful park which is the best for hot summer's day. Also quite close to the Klub Studio where I was headed for a concert. Kinda close to the city centre (not super close but a pleasant walking distance form it). Also, even though the hotel is on the second floor, there is a lift there, so even if you're disabled, exhausted, or just too fu**ed up from the partying, you'll still be able to get to your room with no problems. Overall a very much pleasant experience! Thank you to the staff for their amazing work in keeping the place clean, friendly and safe!

    Nothing actually. Amazing experience!

Very friendly and helpful staff - sympathetic to my requests and questions. Nice bathroom and AC. Breakfast was ok.

The mattresses could use an upgrade. Not the easiest access to the hotel if you have a stroller.

Free private parking, brilliant location - park nearby, city centre not too far away. Staff was pleasant.

Friendly and helpful staff, good European breakfast, good location.

    Everything was clean and fresh.

Did not have water pressure in the shower but the receptionist gave us another room with no complaint.

Room's good. Breakfast excellent. Parking with trees giving shade during the sunny days :)

    8RayPosted on: 6-6-2024

Room was nice typical town hotel, half an hours walk from the centre of town

Stairs and lift to get to reception. Some of the breakfast items appeared to be around for a few days, you had to toast the bread.

It was really tidy and the personnel was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Relatively close to the city centre (20 min walking distance). Amazing polish breakfast!

    Not applicable, everything was perfect.
