    Pros +

    • The hotel is a new building behind an old facade. The location is perfect for walking round the old town or visiting the Castle
    • Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, appreciated the minibar fridge.
    • Excellent location with wonderful staff to help you out with whatever you need.

    Cons -

    • Steps up to reception from the street can be hard with luggage
    • The bathroom was quite small and shower setup was awkward. It was hard to not get water outside the shower
    • We were on the top floor and the rolling blinds didn’t work. Also there was miscommunication with ordering a cheese board we saw advertised on the screen in the bar. When we came down later to order it we were told we could not because the kitchen was closed. So perhaps put times on the ad so people know when to order it by.

Location and the bartender, he was very attentive and the only employee with real customer service skills

    · Beds were too small and narrowed not comfortable, pillows were a huge square and soft cushion. I asked for a regular pillow I was told, that was it. The shower was a hose shower that you have to hold with one hand, very uncomfortable. The TV was not turning on they come three different times to finally figure it out. The view from the room was a brick wall Breakfast was boring lack of choices servers were ignoring everyone while chatting with the cooks, not removing empty plates or offering any help to the guests.

Overall design and vibe. It is very clean. And the location was convenient to places we wanted to see.

We couldn’t get the thermostat to work, but we didn’t ask the staff. We like it cool for sleeping anyways.

The staff was excellent. Old school customer service. Pavel was exceptional and accommodated us with dinner recommendations, reservations and taxies. From the beginning of our stay to our last day (even after checkout) made us feel like we wee the most important people on the premises. The location of the hotel is great and I recommend it to anyone. Definitely coming back and staying here.

Rooms are small but that seems to be common in europe.

Great location (10/10) for visiting the old town of Krakow and it's closeness to Wawel castle. About a 10 minute walk through a park (thoroughly lit) to the main square. Rooms were clean, modern and quiet. Staff were attentive and accommodating. We had a rental car and free street parking from 8pm till 10 was easy to find. Paid parking through the day on the street was also possible and easy to find.

Checked in to a standard room on the 5th floor at 9:30 pm on the first night of three in Krakow. I soon realized the wall mounted AC unit was dripping water onto the carpet, and the carpet under the AC unit was fully soaked wet. A quick call to the front desk and someone made their way to our room. The AC unit was shut off from the lobby and a container was provided, along with some towels to cover the puddle in the carpet. We were told the hotel was fully booked and the issue would be looked at tomorrow, and a complimentary drink in the hotel bar was offered to us. The next day we informed the lobby of the issue to ensure follow up. Upon our return we were moved to a a different standard room on the 4th floor. It should be noted that all rooms on the 5th floor are in the old attic, with a low ceiling that slopes lower, to a height of about 1 m at the far wall. As such, all the windows in the room are skylight types on the sloping roof. The windows have motorized window coverings. In our room, one was closed and three were open, with 2 right over the bed. One of the window coverings was powered and I could deploy the shade down while standing on the bed and pushing buttons. Not sure if there was another was, no was told to us. The other 2 were DEAD units. I had no issues but my partner complained of excessive light in the morning. When I inquired how to control these blinds the desk clerk made a face that seemed to indicate this was an ongoing issue.

great location, excellent and very hepfull staff, overall clean and nice place

breakfest was ok, but the basement that was served in was not great at all. Bathroom was very small and shower barely acommodate average size person.

The staff was excellent and helpful. The location, the cleanliness and general ambience were very good.

The breakfast room is too small for the number of guests. The food was good but the tables were crammed together and even with the annex open up a few stairs, it was still crowded at times. My wife walks with two poles so was not able to negotiate the stairs to the quieter breakfast room annex.

    Free coffee

Super small room, no parking to get luggage in and out of the hotel . Not worth the money

Wonderful location. We were able to walk everywhere. Very nice lobby and social areas. Bartender always available to help with ice for a sore foot. Made take away breakfasts for our early departures.

I thought they were good but my partner thought there ought to be an additional pillow that was firmer

It is a posh, beautiful, comfortable, and clean hotel! The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had wonderful conversations with a few of them. The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to everything. I especially liked the park across the street. When in Krakow, I will stay here again!

Half way between the Wawel Castle (hence the venue’s name is justified) and the Main Square - the two major Kraków’s tourist attractions. Stylish interior. Comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast although not all the breakfast room service members friendly. Efficient check-in. A very attractive alternative versus international hotel chain’s venues.

There was a problem with the reserved parking slot yet it was resolved by the Reception Manager reasonably quickly.

Nice design, exceptional breakfast, friendly staff excellent location

Poor shower faucet/head quality- cant adjust water temperature , skylights not closing, skylights blinds won't operate or ripped off on the side very low ceiling in room 505 on top floor-if you are over 5.2 you will be bouncing of the low ceiling with your head when getting up the bed at nigh.

Very elegantly decorated! Comfortable king bed!Great gathering room off the lobby. Nice fresh filtered water available at all times. Great cleaning staff. Laundry service available.

It is a warm welcoming beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were wonderful, professional, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the river, restaurants, shops and other historical sites. The bar with lounge area was really nice. I am not a person who drinks but it had traditional desserts and that's more my speed!
