Friendliness of staff, location for old town, and amazingly generous included breakfast!

All staff were excellent - very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast had a good selection and was plentiful. Lots of room in the breakfast areas. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Easy walking distance to the main square with shops and bars / restaurants aplenty on the street. Very close to tram stop for travel further afield in the town. Great value for money.

We could hear noise from the adjacent room but this may be due to the layout and age of the building. One of the rooms was quite small, however this wasn’t a negative as it is reflected in the room listings - pick a bigger room if you prefer.

Hotel receptionist was very helpful and we found that the room was warm and comfortable with a good breakfast

The shower was a little small especially if you were a larger person.otherwise it was fine

Very good hotel. We stayed there before. Verey good location, walking distance to the city centre. Very good restaurant on the other side of the street - Piwnice Pałacu Pokutyńskich; much better than in closer to Rynek.Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Helpful staff

Nice 10 minute walk to the old town. Tram & bus stop outside as well. Food options all around.

A hotel for which I have only good words.- it is close to the center and tourist attractions, in an area not very crowded- it is clean- the rooms are spacious - the staff is kind, polite, always with a smile on their faces.We had a small problem with the shower drain. Everything was resolved promptly and the stay was perfect. Every day, the room is cleaned and the towels are changed. The breakfast is rich, fresh, varied and very tasty. The quality of the coffee is not great, but this aspect did not bother us too much.We only stayed 4 nights at this hotel, but if we will return to Krakow, we will definitely stay at Hotel Maksymilian again.

The location was excellent for exploring the town and around the area. Breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from and well presented. Rooms were comfy and spacious.

Everything was great.

The hotel was perfectly located. It was very clean, new towels everyday. A very spacious, well equipped bedroom. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, especially emails before we arrived arranging taxis and a trip. The breakfast was delicious and there was a super selection of food to choose from.

We can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.

During our brief stay in Krakow, coming back to our hotel was like coming home – the staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was ample and delicious, and everything felt available and at arm's reach. Perfect location!

Barely anything to ask for, really; if for one small suggestion – to have a little coffee table in the room for us to sit around and enjoy our evening snacks. However, we managed just fine without!

Bathroom is too small

The location is brilliant furthest walk to places of interest in Krakow was about 2 miles away and we only used a taxi from Airport and to the Krakow shooting school we visited while here. Both journeys very cheap compared to England. There are lively restaurants, supermarkets, take aways and cake shops near by and a beautiful little park. I recommend Bar Smak (traditional Polish) and Dobre Precel for the most amazing savoury or sweet pretzels and Donuts Our room at the hotel was brilliant as travelling with a teenager who isn't old enough for own room yet but needs privacy and she got a large curtained off area in our room which was really good for her , she was very happy with it. The Breakfast is perfect for getting a healthy, filling start to a day exploring. Plenty of choices hot and cold.Some days there is a pizza restaurant open in the hotel courtyard and it has great reviews on trip advisor unfortunately our plans meant we didnt get to try it but managed a coffee with them and is a pretty place to sit. I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, roughly 15 minutes walking to Cloth Hall and Main Square.Breakfast very tasty, good selection of British and Continental foods.

Safe in a room was a bit tricky to use for me but the lovely lady from the reception provided the safe key as another option to use the safe.

The staff were very attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The location was conveniently close to good restaurants and within easy walking distance of the old town and major attractions. Very good value for money.

Centrally located but very quiet as our rooms were at the back of the building. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

The space where breakfast is served looks rather old. It could do with some refurnishing.
