1891 Garni Hotel

Very clean, modern, cozy boutique hotel on a quiet road, close to Old Town

On our second day the room service did not show up until 4pm, and we were already back so that was disappointing. The breakfast area is in the basement, its ok, but personally I like a window and daylight.

Clean, quiet, great location, friendly staff. hi no very strange but it?s a good sign when you can just chill with your people and you know I think getting back here when I can scheduling finances

The mattress could have used a softer mattress topper to make it a bit more comfortable, but once asleep, I slept well.

The location is fantastic. Right next to the Jewish Quarter where there are great restaurants and music. Rooms are nice. Staff is great.

Cleanliness and location

Rooms could have a safety lock on the inside. Also, did not find a 'Fo Not Disturb' sign yo hand outside - felt a little exposed as a result.

Nothing. The only slight issue was the positioning of our room as the trans ran past and were fairly noisy from early morning

Amazing hotel. Very clean, staff were polite and very helpful. Location is good 10 minute walk from main square so is quiet and just enough for walking distance. We tried the breakfast buffet and that was lovely and very cheap for what you get.

I really enjoyed my stay at 1891 Hotel Garni in Krakow. We paid for an upgraded room, which was an excellent size and had a beautiful view of the snowy park—modern, clean, and very comfortable. The daily complimentary bottles of water were a nice touch, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. I mentioned that the trip was for my fiancé’s 30th birthday, and the hotel kindly decorated the room with balloons and even included two complimentary drinks on arrival, which made the stay feel extra special. The location was also great—close to a local shop and about a 15–20 minute walk to the Old Town and Main Square.

While the stay was overall pleasant, there were a few aspects I was disappointed with. The bathroom was quite basic, with a small shower, and there were no mini shower gels, shampoos, or moisturiser provided, which would have been really useful for a short city break. The buffet breakfast was okay but unfortunately not hot, and it didn’t seem to be checked or replenished very often. This was disappointing, especially as the hotel breakfast had been recommended by family members who had stayed here previously.

The hotel was beautiful, featuring carefully maintained décor and an excellent location. Situated in the Jewish Quarter, it offers immediate access to all essential amenities, including mini markets and a wide variety of dining and drinking options. All major points of interest are within walking distance: approximately 20 minutes to the Old Town, 15 minutes to Wawel Castle, and about 25 minutes to the Schindler Museum and the Ghetto.The room was immaculately clean, with daily housekeeping service. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was well equipped with a hairdryer, shampoo, coffee, tea, bottled water, and a kettle.Finally, special mention must be made of the reception staff, who were consistently polite, helpful, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.
