Location is very good. Also, they are open 24h which is helpful when you arrive late or depart early.

Elevator wasn't working and we had room at the last, 5th floor. No indication before making a booking that elevator doesn't work, I didn't have a chance to not book this place. We didn't have enough towels (1 set for 2 people), so I asked receptionist to give us. Unfortunately she didn't want to go on the 5th floor herself to bring them and ask us to go down. And we were forced to go to the room with our luggage through high stairs in the first place.

Nice room, common area kitchen available with all that you could need, free street parking between 21:00 and 10:00, room on the 2nd floor offered for the same price instead of the one on the 4th floor.

Elevator was just in repair but that will be corrected soon

It smells good!! Our rooms had bathrooms. They should change their status to a hotel not hostel. Kitchen was amazing!

Price is ok and bed was comfortable.

4th floor without lift, bathroom was dirty, WiFi didn’t work well in the bedroom, I needed a towel and they didn’t have it even for the next day early morning.

Good value for the price. Comfortable beds. Private bathroom. Really clean rooms.

The elevator didn’t work and we lived in the 4th floor so with luggage it was a struggle. Not many places nearby.

Overall it’s ok but it’s far from comfortable.

Bear in mind that you have no personal space, no curtains or anything. All 4 beds were just placed one near the other. It felt uncomfortable, the elevator didn’t work and the hostel didn’t feel clean (although it wasn’t dirty either).

We are very pleased. Despite the fact that this is a hostel, our room for two had its own bathroom. The room is very clean, all the furniture is new, the renovation is fresh, cleaning every day. Friendly staff. Each floor has a shared kitchen. We took this hostel on a note, I think we will stay here forever

Location is good, although not really close to city center. But it's only a 15 minutes walk.

Breakfast is picnic-type. You pick it up in reception: cookie + sandwich + water + apple. Always the same. I was expecting something more. Coffee would've been nice. Another issue: bed is not confortable enough for me. Pillow is too low.

the door is thin with a gap, so you can hear people from the outside really clearly. and since it’s a corridor, you can’t really control the noise. suggest to bring earplugs.

The smell in the room is not great. It’s noisy sometimes, you can’t have a deep sleep

Not first time staying. Clean room. It is amazing value for the money, location is superb because it is not far from the old town, a lot of public transport around. The kitchen is well equipped.

They have problem with shower pressure (but it is like that in a lot of old buildings) and also it takes around 4/5 minutes for the water to get warm. If you are staying for longer - consider something more expensive.

4th floor and no elevator, so carrying my luggage was difficult.

we were in 4th floor and elevator didt worked, breakfast terrible- every day we got a bag with an old sandwich water rotten apple and some cookie, we had a room near kitchen and in was very smelly in our room because of it… we wake up every morning because other people were very loud

It was clean and friendly staff.

Bathroom sink was over the toilet, which you had to adjust when using the bathroom. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. The location is quite good (around 15-20 min. from the old town by foot) with many shops and cafeterias nearby. There's a shared kitchen which is quite well equipped. Also you can leave your belongings in a luggage room on the last day of your stay.

The elevator wasn't working during our stay and taking stairs every day on the 3rd or 4th floor can be quite tiring. There's no soundproofing (at least you can hear some noise from the corridor). Also the bed sheets had some old little stains.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to the old town.

There was no lift working, the beds were quite uncomfortable and it was noisy. You could hear the conversation in the room next door.

Freedom Hostel in Krakow is super close to the main sights, so it's easy to get around. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The staff was really helpful. Overall, everything felt very comfortable and cozy.
