AC Hotel Krakow

The hotel is lovely specially the reception area and the room itself was very modern, clean and nicely decorated. First impressions were great and the overall look of the place is really nice.Check-in, however, took quite a long time (20/30 mins)) which wasn’t the best start to the stay. The hotel also takes a deposit that wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking, so make sure you plan that into your budget.Unfortunately, the heating in the room was constantly on and it was far too hot to sleep. Turning it off or switching to fan mode didn’t make any difference, which made the nights pretty uncomfortable.The food was decent but a bit overpriced compared to nearby places. There are a few good options within a short walk, which we ended up using instead. There’s also no public transport close by, so you’ll need to rely on taxis if you’re not driving.They do offer a coffee hour, which is a really nice idea and a great touch, but it’s a shame there aren’t options like tea or hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers.The spa area was overall very disappointing. We had to queue each time as it was full, and it was packed with kids screaming, jumping into the pool and splashing everywhere. Very heard to get a bed too so people were sitting on the steps area. We tried the adult-only hour, but even then it was uncomfortable due to a couple behaving very romantically. The area didn’t seem to be monitored at all, and when I mentioned it to reception, I was told they were too busy to watch the camera.We also booked massages, which sadly weren’t relaxing. The therapist wasn’t very friendly and only spoke at the end. She handed me a review card while I was still lying there naked after saying she was done, which felt awkward and unprofessional.Overall, while the hotel looks lovely, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations, mainly due to the spa and service issues.

Excellent hotel. €3-€5 in a taxi to old town. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The spa facilities were amazing. The staff were exceptional. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Fabulous hotel with fantastic staff. Couldn't fault it. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Lovely pool area and an amazing spa for massage.

I didn't like that you couldn't smoke on your balcony of your room. I didn't realise this when booking but that's a minor thing.

Premium suite was nice, spacious, furniture comfortable. Cleaning ladies very nice and very professional. Check in stuff could be more cheerfull.

Size of bath was ridiculously small, could be comfortable for people below 150 cm of height in my opinion.

The buffet breakfast was really good ..the fresh omelette in morning amazing. Staff really nice.

Cleaner didn’t come on our last day; we requested more body wash as it wasn’t replaced before we arrived but got sent an extra shampoo instead.

The hotels spa area is perfect and bed is big! We had an issue with breakfast box not being ready before our day trip first thing in the morning. However the staff were brilliant in sorting us out with free breakfast the next day and a complementary cheese board. Breakfast is lovely, spa is lovely. Overall 10/10

Slightly stuffy in room in winter as they lock the cold part of A/C off but it was manageable!

Quality hotel especially for the price. Little things like having a smart TV with Netflix, 2 sinks in the bathroom and a coffee station downstairs gave the hotel a premium feel. Spa and gym are both great.

Location was slightly out of town and definitely isn’t walkable. However, bolts being so cheap this was no issue as at times we could get into town for a £3 fee which is crazy.

Very nice hotel, modern and luxurious. We received a free room upgrade upon arrival which made the stay all the better. Helpful staff and quiet location.

Had an issue with unclean bedding and rude cleaning staff after they were informed, but the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating regarding this.

The hotel in itself was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned daily. We only had breakfast in the hotel which had a good variety. Bar in the lobby was lovely and warm considering the door was always opening and closing and the temperature was -10!!

The sauna area is not big enough for the size and when we were there it was full abd they were operating a obe out one in policy with over 15 people waiting. Children were in with toys and only one sauna. It was a disappointment

Room was beyond what we expected for the price we paid , staff were really polite and friendly at all times and food at the hotel was amazing , location of the hotel was good too only a 10 minute drive to the square and taxis from here cost next to nothing, our stay couldn’t have been any better!
