Pros +
- The location is amazing it’s just a short 5 minutes walk to the square and along the way you’ve got lovely buildings to see.
- It was accessible to the town and good walking distance - it was somewhere to sleep whilst we were there - food was good in that I didn’t overeat haha. Friendly helpful staff.
- Proximity to main station and old town. Good public transport connections.
Cons -
- The bed was a bit tough to sleep on but again wasn’t there for long and it was only there to sleep on
- The lights in the bed head are convenient but kept bumping my head on them and inadvertently switching them on while in bed. Noisy crowd of young people.
- Small room. No space for luggage

Late check in, Close to station
Small room. No space for luggage
Specious enough, clean
Our room was at the end of the building facing train station meaning noise of announcements through the entire night.Lack of kettle to make some quick tea/coffee
This hotel is a solid option if you are in Krakow for a travel connection - it is literally facing the train station, so it’s easy if you have rail or air connections. The room was small and a bit weird with the shower completely exposed to the room, but you can’t complain for the price and everything was clean. Bed was super comfortable and staff was friendly.
For the rooms facing the station you can hear the Krakow train station announcements even with the window closed. Maybe a bit far if you are going into old town Krakow every day, but not that bad if you really have a budget.
I had a very pleasant stay at ibis Kraków Stare Miasto. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the Old Town, the main train station, and Galeria Krakowska, which made getting around very convenient. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything needed for a short city stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet despite the central location. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help.I would definitely stay here again.
The staff were really helpful.I was running late to an appt.,the front desk staff called a taxi for me and before I finished my coffee in the adjacent breakfast area, the taxi arrived.Cant ask for more. Also the location arriving late night at the train station,is excellent.
All was good.
King bed very comfortable, just behind the train station, lovely people they borrowed us a kettle and cups! Perfect for the square
Nothing for a budget hotel it was fabulous
Good staff. Clean. Good breakfast . Near train station
Far from City Center. 15 min + walking
Central and clean with comfortable bed
The close proximity to the old town, train and bus station as well as a large shopping centre. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was just right for a budget hotel. Nice and clean and comfortable.
A kettle would have been great. I bring my own tea and coffee and have allergies to certain foods so it would have been nice to boil some water for my soups
The location was good.
I didn’t find the staff particularly helpful. Also, the light in the toilet goes off every 10 seconds and you have to wave your arms to get it to turn back on. I asked them downstairs whether or not there was a switch for it to be on and they said there wasn’t. In another instance, I asked for a steamer. They said they didn’t have anything like that. I then asked for an iron which they had. Why wouldn’t he have offered me an iron? Did you think I wanted the steamer to steam dumplings?
The area it was located
Everything, budget is an understatement, £10 or 50zlt for breakfast is outrageous it was bread and cold meat and the cheapest cereal, especially compared to any other cafe in Krakow even Cafe Nero worth £2 or 10zlt at most, put kettles in rooms and there is NO English TV, poor for this day and age, needs updating and more for guests no matter what their paying, treat them well and they will return time and time again.
Good location close to the train station with good WiFi
The toilet was very small.
The hotel was warm and clean. The hotel is very close to the train station. It's good for 1 night
Near to everything just a 5 minutes walk from the train station
I found a bunch of hair on the floor and 2 bottle small container under the bed it seems the cleaner didn't clean and check properly the room we also feel a bit itchy on our bed maybe the bed cover is dirty? But aside from this everything is perfect
Room was perfectly fine for our 2 night stay, it was warm and clean and the hotel itself is really close to the train station and Galeria shopping centre. Stare Miasto is about a 15 minute walk away. Water bottle filling station in the lobby area was great.
There are no kettles in the rooms. Pillows were on the soft side. Neither of these points detracted from our stay though.
Right next to the train station, super friendly staff. Ok for one night since I had an early train
It was just ok, ppl had definitely smoked in the room I was in, slept with the window cracked. It could use a refresh, it’s pretty worn.
It is a walking distance from the bus and train station. 10 mins.
Budget means budget, but the price and quality didn't really match. Breakfast was rather poor too.
