The check-in and breakfast and the location of the hotel. We had a courtyard view which was noting much.

It was not what we expected. Having just come from a 4 start hotel in St. Malo, my hotel selection turned out not to be the best plus having thought I booked 2 nights, I found out it was 3. And we already had a feeling. The lift has a 1 person 1 suitcase capacity and is an upgraded old fashioned suicide door type. The room we had was a little small with a view only onto a large patio outside the window. The towels were also a little small, but the shower was OK. A large suitcase and a carryon soon fills the available storage space in the room, so only take out essentials. The curtain covering the storage space is OK. The Spa aspect was one of the interesting things for our selection but maybe its something run by an associate on the hotel premises (and seemed quite expensive). In fact, we didn't even bother to look, so really cannot comment. The location cannot be faulted and is more suited for people wanting to spend a quick weekend away with only airline carry on type baggage. Local parking is non-existent (this was October, summer must be horrendous). They have a secured covered garage around 900m away which takes 10 mins to walk without dawdling. Only problem is that the spaces are limited and the corridors in the garage are narrow in that if the other spaces are taken, the only way to park is to drive in and then reverse out, minding the chicane bit on the way. Big SUV's can forget it really. I was lucky. I have mid size SUV and the garage was virtually empty so I managed to turn and reverse in and drive out forwards when I got the car in the morning. I managed to find a parking space relatively close for the next evening. Which means we only stayed 2 nights although I paid for 3. It will suite someone, unfortunately not us.

No noise and the private spa

Lack of cushion in the bed

The room was large, very clean and nicely decorated. I couldn't find the hair dryer and the staff were very helpful in getting me a new one. My French is also not very good but all the staff had great English and made me feel very welcome!

On sea front. Room clean and comfortable.

Very poor access to drop off luggage, particularly at the moment. No acknowledgment or empathy from the staff on arrival or departure.

Sea view at breakfast. Friendly staff.

No parking at the hotel and difficult access due to traffic restrictions.

We had a lovely room with a sea view and were welcomed to the hotel by very friendly reception staff. The hotel has a private garage specially for bicycles which we appreciated. The majority of the restaurants were a 10 minute walk away. Below the hotel is a great sandy beach which disappears at high tide. Breakfast is an extensive buffet (at least by French standards) taken in the dining room with a sea view. Recommended.

The local council is strengthening the sea wall and unfortunately were at work on the section opposite the hotel. But obviously this is a short term issue not the hotel's fault and should be finished by the end of 2023.

Lovely hotel, beautiful situated with a stunning view of the sea. Friendly staff, nice breakfast with good variety of bread, fruit, coffee and so on. Enough space to sit. Hotel is on walking distance from the center (5 minutes) and this is great; you have all the benefits and the still it feels quit around the hotel. Crossing the road and you can immediately go into the see. Rooms are not spacious, but very modern, clean and well maintained. A bottle of fresh water every day was highly appreciated. Parking space was available on approx 600 meter distance. I liked the pictures of the hotel on the wall over the last decades; nice to see how it developped.

Pets are allowed so we brought our dog. Only the closest beach did not allow it during high season, beaches somewhat further away it was allowed. You can find all the information on the website of the Tourist Office.

Location was great for the beach and the staff were very helpful. The ground floor room was spacious with a large shower room. The bed was large and comfortable. We had a great time in Les Sables d'olonne.

When we booked we asked about parking, which wasn't available, but when temporary parking was organised we weren't told until the day before we arrived by which time it was fully booked. Also surprised that the hotel temporarily charged 100 euro to my credit card rather than the usual zero. The WiFi signal was unusable in our room but our mobile phone plan covered us anyway.

Good position for beaches and town. Helpful staff, directed me to free parking.

Although Hotel had a lift the room was down several steps (patio room).

Came here for a friend's wedding and the location is perfect. Its right next to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly as they speak English as well. They were able to accommodate our needs, eg extra pillows, having milk with our coffee in the room etc.

Bathroom is not clean. Many things were piled with dust, eg radiator, shelves etc.
