    Pros +

    • Nice location, 5 min walk from city center where shops and restaurants are located. Parking spot close to the hotel, but limited availability due to high demand. The staff is friendly and helpful, however not much time to give as they also work for the restaurant (and its very busy). The room is not very big but okay for an overnight stay. The shower is indeed small but bearable. Be aware that there's no aircon in the room and it can be quite hot.
    • How close it was from the Port. Market . Touristique place
    • Great location, helpful staff

    Cons -

    • Although not the staff's fault, the hotel is directly located above the restaurant and bar street. It will be extremely noisy until 2.30pm, as the room is directly above the restaurant terrace where people enjoy their night with food and music. The staff will clear out the terrace at 2.30pm by folding all tables and piling up the chairs, while the garbage truck come around 5am to collect the bins, making lots of loud metallic noises. It will be extremely noisy and impossible to sleep without earplugs. For this reason, we couldn't rest at all + the room was suffocating.
    • The nose outside until late at night.
    • No one around when we arrived in the afternoon

This is a basic hotel but is in an excellent location and offers good value for money.

The accommodation is very dated and lacks modern conveniences but is good value for money and well located.

We enjoyed everything. Good position, good food. Not the Ritz but more than adequate for a short stay. Staff helpful.

Although the beds were 'comfortable' the mattresses were made of memory foam and they generate unnatural and unwanted heat during the night. The tiny lift was a real experience! Parking tricky and even in February was very busy.

    Pleasant

The noises coming from the neighbouring Bodega and The Bronx. Loud music, screaming and shouting until 2.30 a. m.

    5HaraldPosted on: 7-4-2023

Many good restaurants within walking distance as well as the beach.

Loud "music" from neighbouring " Bodega" as well as "The Bronx" until 2.30 a.m.

Able to store bikes in room securely. Really friendly staff. Great location. Restaurant dinner of thon tartate was fantastic.

Small shower but it was hot

    7CarolinePosted on: 5-16-2023

The location was perfect. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The reception staff were helpful and sorted out storage for our bikes.

Our bathroom was missing a shower screen/curtain and plug in the basin so it was a bit tricky not to flood the place. The breakfast staff were not helpful, and almost seemed to resent us being there.

Good view from 3rd floor room at front. Comfortable bed.Clean . Great location for some .

No shower screen ,half decorated bathroom ceiling. Poor facilities. No opportunity to get a drink out of hours . Very noisy till 2-3 in morning as 2 bars close by and public holidays. Need a drinks machine or facilities in room. Very echoey building .

location; value for money; availability for my last minute booking

    a bit shabby and dated

    6hilaryPosted on: 3-27-2023

Location excellent - right on the port, 2 minutes walk from beach. Lots of restaurants & bars nearby (but we ate in the hotel). Good to experience local life - especially from the bar next door until 2.30am! No problem, we had been warned, & we were so tired after a long days drive we had no problem sleeping.

    Parking nearby was tricky.

    8MichaelPosted on: 10-5-2022

Hotel is adequate for one person stay. This was my second stay and I have always been satisfied.Very good restaurant.

Shower door fouled wash handbasin. I could just squeeze in!

    9StephenPosted on: 10-3-2022

Great location excellent staff... Good resturant ..

The hotel is comfortable rooms a little dated.. and could do with upgrading ..but did the purpose.

    7PeterPosted on: 10-1-2022

No frills, but perfect.Friendly staff.Authentically French

Not much to complain about for the price. I loved it here.

    8WyndhamPosted on: 9-6-2022

We have stayed here before so knew what to expect, we had a room at the front overlooking the port, there are bars either side of the hotel and were warned by the manager that it could be noisey at night, and it was!

The lift is very small, 1 person and 1 piece of luggage, we didn't order breakfast as its only basic, coffee and croissant.

    6JanetPosted on: 7-26-2022

The view from the bedroom window was stunning. We live miles away from the sea so to have a view of it and the boats on it was lovely. We also liked the fact we were right on the street of the restaurants and just a short walk the other way took us to the beach.

    The bathroom. It needed updating.
