    Pros +

    • Located next to the train station. City center is a short walk. Rooms are clean and warm (winter)
    • Sam at the front desk is absolutely wonderful and enhanced our trip. He helped us and was so friendly and wonderful to talk to. Thank you for helping secure our bikes while staying there and giving great advice for our needs and nearby restaurants.
    • Staff was very hospitable and accommodating, and provided many useful tips for the stay in Saint-Nazaire.Breakfast was good, and from the city centre location I was easily able to move around on foot and explore the city. From there, it isn't too far if you're mobile to reach the closest beaches, and enjoy a meal right there. In all, I wish I would have stayed longer than just one night. It's a nice city and the hotel and staff seemed just the place to stay to explore it further.

    Cons -

    • Because of the location, if you open a window to let in fresh air, expect some noise from the nearby bus station and people around.
    • Water leaked from the window. One of the lights for the bed did not work. Nothing available nearby to eat for dinner on Sunday.
    • Curtains didn't work properly.

    Curtains didn't work properly.

Location was perfect for us and great value for money. Helpfulness of front staff in sorting our bus with bikes for the morning. Good breakfast. Safe bike storage.

All good, but reasonably basic overall (still great for the price) and shower head was slack. Faulty main light.

    8BrucePosted on: 9-25-2024

Nice basic, budget hotel right across from the bus station. Downtown as well as supermarkets and restaurants close by.

No air conditioning. Opening the window across from the bus station can be noisy.

    Poor

Our room was really small and basic,, we had a view of the bus station.

It was clean and the staff were very helpful

It was miles to walk toThe nearest bar with outside seating. I booked it because it showed a bar/restaurant next door but it was closed. We need outside seating because we have a dogAlso rooms very small

Location a few steps from the train station. Room was generous, bathroom was fine. Breakfast was normal+ with generous protein. Staff was attentive and responsive and helpful.

    8JeffPosted on: 6-11-2024

Clean and tidy, very friendly staff.

A few signs of aging and discolouration in the shower.

    9KayPosted on: 6-7-2024

Helpful friendly staff. Close to the railway station and cafes.

    8MarceloPosted on: 11-24-2023

Close to the train station. Several restaurants and groceries nearby.

    The mattress is too soft.

    6CarrickmanPosted on: 10-24-2023

The hotel in fairness is in the town centre. It's just that the town itself had no character wand was a complete waste of a visit

The room was tiny and poorly lite

    5patrickPosted on: 9-10-2023

The price is reasonable but it also reflects what you get. It is clean and very convenient to the train station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok and the restaurant attached is also average does the job. There are also some good restaurant options across the road. We had to park in the station carpark which for us was ok it was pretty cheap for the whole day and not too far.

Rooms are TINY. I would not recommend for long stays. They are ok for maybe an overnight for the train. Only enough room to walk sideways around the bed, you need to move the bed to the wall to use the desk and if you have more than one suitcase you are in trouble! The area is noisy being next to the train and bus terminal, however the rooms weren't too bad when the windows are closed. There is no aircon so if it's hot take ear plugs as you will need the window open and then it's noisy! No toiletries provided

The location is perfect, right next to the station and about 10-15 min drive from an excellent beach. We travelled with a baby, so the staff placed a lovely little cot with linen in our room in advance. The room was very clean and comfortable. Despite being located next to the station, the room was quiet and peaceful. On top of that, a remark for sensitive sleepers: the curtains create almost perfect darkness :)
