Hotel Byron

The view of the sea from our room was breathtaking! Outstanding breakfast! Staff were very courteous!

There has been a mistake in the charge from booking, because , by mistake, I ordered the suites with single person each, instead of double.Yet - the hotel decided not to charge us for the gap. :)

the room is very big (junior suite), but with no character, the design is poor and not comfort , and very poor with accessories. The balcony is also very big, but with no rood, and since it was rainy sometimes, we could not use it even once.Also - there was a flood in the room because of the rain.

Accommodation & location to amenities were fantastic. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was above average. Would definitely stay again.

The room's are very small if you have a balcony. Beach sunbed prices are high!

Everything was fantastic! I was returning to Lerici because my late husband and I lived there 35 years ago (on via Fiascherino,) and I wanted the have exactly that view of the Golfo dei Poeti and the castle. It was perfect. I loved being soothed to sleep by the sound of the waves and being caressed by the cool breeze coming into the room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in every way. The breakfast was wonderful...and so were the three dinners that I had in the restaurant. I am probably too old to come back again in this lifetime, but if I do, I will stay at the Hotel Byron. It meant a LOT to me to make this return visit to the most beautiful place I've ever lived. Thank you for welcoming me.

If you have a car, DON'T STAY HERE!! They make you park a half a mile away and they had no spots avaliable so we had to park illegally. No AC.The patio was dirty and when outside terrible sewage smell.

Very nice beachfront hotel with implacable Service. All staff very helpful with good command od English. Dinner was first class.

Bfast tables left dirty and once an item is finished, it's not replaced.

Modern entrance with parking right outside the door. The balcony, the view, the shower and the very comfy huge bed.

Room was overlooking main road and sea view but windows are not good enough and all outside noise could be heard.. that was annoying especially at night.

Breakfast was ok-ish, but some days there were no fried choices available and the breakfasts were delayed while the staff were preparing the extra batch of fried sausages, ham, etc.

The initial room assigned to us had some problems but we were offered an upgraded room, so the 1st night discomfort has been forgotten.

The location is excellent.

The staff were professional but not very warm. Particularly disappointing as we were getting married and didn’t even receive a congratulations when coming down in our outfits.

A nice, fresh hotel with a good price-to-value ratio. I enjoyed the view from the room. It was clean and tidy.

The breakfasts consisted of a variety of different options; however, the selection was the same every morning. Also, the restaurant staff didn’t offer coffee from the barista’s espresso machine in the kitchen but instead waited for you to make it yourself from the automatic espresso machine at the end of the hall.

Hotel is situated in beautiful, charming city. Beautiful view from every rooms taras for the sea.

The room with small patio was nice with a sea view. The staff was very nice.

We booked this hotel months in advance with the idea of a peaceful beach vacation. On the website one of the amenities mentioned was a beach chair and umbrella for an additional charge. The implication was that they are available. When we got there we discovered all the beaches except one were private, no chairs or umbrellas available for our entire six days. The hotel could have told us about the necessity of prebooking but they did not. Addionally, the parking is a long distance from the hotel and staff gives you a key to the gate which you must immediately return to the hotel. We went to park the car and found the key didn’t work. We trudged back and staff said many clients were reporting the key not working! There is no way I would call this a four star hotel. Giving out keys for parking and offering information about beach chairs are simple things that the hotel could do. We were disappointed.

The location is amazing overlooking the perfect Bay of Poets. The hotel is only a very short walk to the centre of town with lots of restaurants and shops.

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

Couldn't work the air conditioning

Location is great. The building itself seemed to be renewed not long ago, but the maintenance is awful. You can see humidity on the walls…

When taking a shower, the water was coming out making a flood in the bathroom. It was annoying. The double bed was composed of two single beds which was uncomfortable. There was no cleaning on the terrace at all. We had a cherry that fell on the first day of our stay and it was there till the day we left. The beach in front is private and if you manage to find a place you would need to pay 38 euros a day. The free beach is about 400 meters walk and it is small and dirty. Breakfast was nothing special, every days mainly the same. In other 4 star hotels in Italy we stayed in for much less price it was much better. Parking is about 650 meters from the hotel and every time you want to park the car you would need to pass by hotel and ask for the keys. Once parked you have to return the keys and sometimes can be inconvenient.

Amazing castle and sea view, very comfy bed, perfectly located: 5 mins to free beach and 10 mins walk to harbour and restaurants and boats/buses. Breaky also had lots of fruit and nuts and yogurt options as well as usual Italian sweet options.
