The location and view were spectacular! The host was so welcoming and provided a home cooked dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Everything!Our host, Pilar, was wonderful. She communicated in advance asking how she could help etc. The drive from the highway is sooo worth it. The property is located on the outside edge of the village so you have an amazing view of the valley for miles and miles. We had left our window and blinds open that night and awoke to see all the stars shining in the sky! Lots of places to walk about to explore and enjoy. The quiet and serenity of this location is mesmerizing. Our room was comfortable and had what we needed. Bed linens and towels were included!There is an absolute wonderful restaurant located only a couple of minutes walk away. Our breakfast was delicious and enjoyed.

I made my own breakfast in the kitchenette. The breakfast provided by the host looked great though. There is a bakery XATA almost next door to fetch a fresh croissant and excellent breads. I tried the pan de centeno.

Beautiful rustical house located in a very nice old village in the middle of nowhere. Silence during night, stunning views from the balcony amazed us. Owner is very kind and warm person. In the room you have everything what you need, even if there was no air conditioning, it was very nice inside. Motorcycle we were able to keep under roof in the garage behind closed gate during night.

Tight and curvy road to the village, but it's not a very big problem. Just go slowly and don't be scared.

A lovely rural property in beautiful tranquil village. Spectacular views from a spacious balcony. Room small but comfortable. WiFi good. Pilar, the owner and host, is very friendly and helpful who is prepared to make breakfast and dinner should you wish. There is a good restaurant 3 minute walk away in the village.

The road through village to hotel is very narrow.

The hotel is beautifully situated in a pittoreske old mountain village It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The rooms the self are simple but have everything that is needed and was the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in so far.The host is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. When my car did not fit through that last gap (remember, this is an old village that was built long before cars were invented) she immediately showed me a suitable parking spot close to the hotel.All in all a hotel I would recommend to anyone!

I was absolutely satisfied. The location of the guest house is in a calm and nice place in the beautiful village in the mountains. The lady is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, served at the place with breathtaking view, is rich and typical of the region. Thank you very much! I will be pleased to come again, for more nights.

Only thing maybe other people go through, if you have a big car, you may have difficulty to pass some small street road to reach the parking.

My host was friendly and helpful: she came and made me dinner when it turned out that the only restaurant in the village was closed.

A difficult and stressful drive through the village to get to the house, even in a small car.

Several guests, who checked in quite late - after 11:00 pm - did not seem to realize how noisy they were...

the road to come there was very narrow. we had a small car so no problem but with a bigger one it would have been a disaster

Owner was super helpful, and in the night helped us to get to the hotel. P. S. Do not drive in to the village its is supper narrow, your driving skills will be tested ?

The owner of this small hotel is very friendly, she left a kind note for us, as we arrived a bit later than planned. The room including the bathroom was nice and spacious, furnished with atmospheric solid wood furniture. Of course the balcony with the nice view of the valley is the highlight. Estamariu itself is a beautiful picturesque village high above the valley, with many interesting historical sights (don't miss the Romanesque painted church). 15 minutes to Seu d'Urgell and under one hour to Andorra.

Indeed, like others describe, the road in the village itself is very narrow. We decided after the first time of squeezing through the tiny pathways to park at the village entrance, at 5 minute walk. Not ideal but also not a real problem. A bit more annoying was that we in vain hoped for peaceful, silent evenings overlooking the valley. Instead there were groups of bikers and offroaders who occupied the downstairs tables and talked and shouted very loudly, which of course destroyed any chance of relaxing especially on our first evening. Not the hotel's fault, but not helping either, even if it stopped towards 22.30/23.00.The in other reviews much applauded breakfast was good, but admittedly not extremely special. Tomato bread, cheese and chorizo, all of good quality and theoretically as much as we asked for, but those we got at other accommodations as well.
