AC Hotel Alcala de Henares

Everything, location, very clean, and personal very helpful.

The hotel room was very clean. The staff was great, except for 1 woman working night shift with short hair who was not helpful at all. Excluding her the staff was great.

The location is in the suburbs, around 30 miles from downtown Madrid.

The breakfast was ok. It could have a better selection.

The gym is really non existent. Only for cardio. Dumbbells are ridiculously small, not even a free. Weight bench. It could be easily improved, so a guess can get a decent workout. Right now it can't.

You had the AC turned off and the noise from the highway was too loud to keep the windows open.

Owned by Marriott. Front desk Receptionist Silvia spoke English and was so very helpful with questions, and any assistance needed. Rooms and hotel modern and so clean. Safe area. Lidl supermarket next door, as well as McDonalds. 10 minute walk to stores. Bus stops outside of hotel. 1.30 Euros to take bus to city center and tourist area. 15-20 min. to airport without traffic.

I liked everything

Clean ample room, very friendly staff, wide parking space

The toilet door is just a glass that doesn't close. Not practical at all. Very close to the highway, although I couldn't hear the noise.

The location was fantastic to attend a conference at the University of Alcalá (Escuela Politecnica). The room was comfy. The reception was very helpful and the breakfast was at continental standard level.

The door of toilet was not giving the right privacy for people who are sharing the room but don't know each other.

Very noisy, as next to the highway, the room is very small and basic, the restaurant has limited availability

They did not offer a breakfast during the weekend so we didn't eat there

The location was far from the bus station but easily accessible to the highway. We needed to take a taxi everywhere we went. It was OK but we prefer to walk

The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. I was less than a mile from my friends. The staff was friendly.

The breakfast was overpriced. There was no hot water pot to make tea or coffee maker for coffee. I had to buy it out because no room service was available. Also, there was no way to adjust the temperature in my room. I was very hot and the staff said they could do nothing about it.
