The hotel was very nicely situated, very close to Alcala de Henares beautiful historic town. It was located in a very quiet street, so hardly any noise at night. The staff was really friendly!

The room was very clean - something I always appreciate when staying away from home. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, as surfaces were spotless, linens were fresh, and the bathroom was immaculate.One of the highlights was definitely the comfortable bed and pillows. After long days exploring the area, it was a genuine pleasure to sink into the supportive mattress with just the right balance of firmness and cushioning. The quality pillows complemented the sleeping experience perfectly, allowing for restful nights throughout my stay.The location proved to be excellent, with the main center of Alcala easily accessible.Overall, Hotel Cuatro Canos delivers on the essentials that matter most to travelers seeking comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I would confidently recommend this property to anyone looking for quality accommodations in a prime location.

The staff didn't seem very friendly; however, they warmed up over the days I was there. I didn't like the paid coffee machine that didn't deliver a good cup of coffee without sugar.

Clean linens were provided everyday, beds were made up. About 15 min walk from the train station and close enough to walk downtown. As described in listing.

The reception/room had a bit of stale smoke smell. We had a three bed room, but there was only enough space between beds to sort of shuffle between them. The bathroom was ok, but again, super cramped, no space to set down your clothes or toiletry bag. It was a bit noisy because we were on the main floor and people at reception (or maybe staff doing laundry) were easily heard in our room.

Very nice hotel, clean, very nice staff.

One should have walked a little in the morning for breakfasts.

Close to old town

You have to walk two blocks for a very basic breakfast so my advise don’t book with breakfast . Nobody speaks English

Very well appointed with all necessary facilities for what had been an enforced booking due to adverse weather conditions.The staff were very helpful and understanding.

No fault of the hotel, but on street parking only. Safe parking was a good distance away..No food available, and restaurants a good walk away.I am not complaining. I had not got time to research any other accommodation with bookings at short supply.

- Staff was available at any time, day and night. - Check-in and check-out were very easy and fast. - The room was cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday.

- The doors are not soundproof so you can hear every sound coming from outside which is not the best when you’re trying to rest.- Wi-fi wasn’t working very well.

It's not my of like to have a long double pillow, I think would be better to have two independent ones. Nowhere to plug your phone next to the bed.

The hotel doesn’t even have cups and staffs we’re terrible. Doesn’t even speak English and doesn’t have service manners.

Location is very good. Room and bathroom are small, but sufficient for a single person. It is a modest place, but it is clean and comfortable, appropriate for its price.

Nobody speaks any English. Sound isolation is poor.

Location is close to downtown and the old building of the university, and 15-minute walk from the train station. The room is not big, but has enough space. The hotel has a small lift, which is good if you have big luggages. The hot water in the toilet is very good. After check out I could leave my luggage at the hotel while I went for lunch, this was very kind and practical.

The room doesn't have heating system, so in winter it might get a little bit cold. The walls are thin, so you might hear people walking on the corridor or talking in the next room, but since the hotel is small I think this is not a big issue.

Shower head holder was dirty - floor had smear tracks, like it had been swept with a dirty mop

Smells of stale tobacco use. Toilet did not flush. Bath light blinked continuously.

The room was clean and the beds was comfortable.

The fact there was no fridge.
