Desk receptionist was extremely knowledgeable about local restaurants, plus I forgot my phone charger and she kindly lent me one which was extremely helpful since it was late enough that no shops were open.

My only complaint, breakfast selection wasn't very appealing

Parking ended up being €40 for 20 hours in Port Parking.

The Reception was excellent. Breakfast was great. And the bed was really comfortable

There was road works outside. It might have been a good idea to mention this before our arrival as it made it a little difficult to find a way in.

Great location near the train station. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was terrific. The manager took great care of us and was very attentive to our needs! We were riding our bicycles from Bordeaux to San Sebastian and took a couple nights in St Jean de Luz. Very fun little town in the Cote Basque. We werent on a "lounge around the pool" kinda vacation and this hotel worked perfectly for us!

Friendly, responsive staff. Quiet, clean comfortable room doubleglazed window with a view over fascades and stone walls.

Breakfast adequate

This is an example of a very good very simple basic hotel. The room was simple but very comfortable with adequate amenities. They had quite a nice breakfast. Communication was excellent and the were kind enough to let me use the single car garage that they have for 20 euros. The staff was extremely helpful and the location couldn’t be better; right next to Les Halle’s market and a quick walk to the beach and dozens of little restaurants and bars

Because it was locked off from cars because of construction, it was a little hard to get to by car.

The location was convenient for an overnight stay. The bed and bedding were comfortable.The staff were welcoming.

Location is very convenient for the train station and the town. My room was at the back so noise from the street wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good.

I could hear everything in the rooms around me. The room was small for a double, for 2 people it would be very cramped so luckily I was alone. Parts of the room were dusty and needed cleaning, eg the table with tea and coffee on it was really dusty.

Reasonably clean.

Old, outdated property. Air conditioning didn’t work. No plug in bath. Toilet not anchored to floor. No facilities out of hours. Staff quite miserable. Wouldn’t stay again.

Really useful location near the station and the pretty town St Jean de Luz. Had a comfortable stay.

Great location, free parking, lovely reception staff, very comfy bed. Compact room but perfectly fine for a good night’s sleep.

The shower holder didn’t work so had to hold the shower head. There was plenty of hot water tho. The wardrobe door was temperamental! No milk for room tea or coffee.

I didn’t take the breakfast, I thought that it was include but in my opinion it is expensive

The rooms were pleasantly decorated, beds comfortable. The location of the hotel was ideal as it was just opposite the station, and a bus stop giving access to other resorts along the coast.

One of our rooms was on the front of the building. When you opened the window it was a little noisy. We also felt the optional breakfast was a little expensive for what it was, and decided not to take it.

Great location in a beautiful picturesque town. Right next to the market. Free parking nearby.
