Hotel Les Almadies - Coeur de Ville

Room and bath larger than appeared in photo. Everything about the small hotel was excellent. Breakfast was top notch - very good quality. Host was helpful in recommending dinner, storing our luggage, serving our breakfast. Hotel is very tasteful.

The location above stores on the main pedestrian street was perfect to access everything in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. Owner Jennifer was so nice and helpful with how to do anything we needed. The breakfast room was cozy and comfortable.

So long as you can do stairs, no problem, but the adorable property doesn’t have an elevator.

Everything was so well thought out, very comfortable relaxing and the staff were quiet and kind, no hovering or intrusion but in the background available to help. They enabled an early checkin at no cost, lent beach towels in basket. And answered our travel questions we had around our onward journey. Super central. Easy walk from train station. A really great stay. Super clean too. We loved the bath.

It was pretty perfect. We will happily return one day I hope.

A small family run hotel in the heart of the main pedestrian area. Received a warm welcome from Jennifer and Mattieu on arrival and they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable good sized room with a comfortable bed and decent bath/shower. Complimentary coffee/ teas in room with local savoury snack and chocs. Mini bar stocked with soft drinks and beer at a reasonable price. Breakfast of local Pay Basque produce delicious - noted crockery also local made - a nice touch. Lots of fab restaurants and shops on the doorstep . Dog friendly . A lovely stay.

Parking a walk away ( got lost trying to find arrival parking drop off place)Stairs could be challenging for those with mobility problems.

The hotel was in the center of the town, so very easy acces to the beach, shops …..

The hosts are lovely and very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable and was cleaned during our stay. There is coffee in the room. The location is central and you can walk to everything.

Its location was perfect, with our room looking out over the square. The room was very comfortable, and the proprietor warm, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was put together with care and extremely good. We really enjoyed our stay there.

There was nothing we disliked.

Good location, lovely family who manage. They gave us beach towels & mat, and good advice for activities. They were always on hand but never intrusive. St Jean is a lovely townThank you

Staff/owners were excellent, always available to help out and give us sensible concrete suggestions.

Breakfast was overpriced, we only had it for one day. The hotel needed a bar where users could meet and socialise. There was inevitably noise on some evenings because of the fete.

A nice property right in the heart of town The lady on reception was extremely friendly and informative . Comfortable if small room but spot on for a one night stay. Very clean with a nice bathroom with shower. Great location with secure parking a few blocks away We didn’t take breakfast as we always like to go out but it did look good Would stay here again

A beautiful old home with modern, comfortable rooms. The owners are lovely and very helpful in making suggestions for where to dine and visit. Highly recommend!!

The location was great. It's in the pedestrian area, very close to restaurants, shops, and seafront. The owners are lovely people and very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, and the breakfast well worth the extra.

Right in the center of busy town , the front door opens on to the main shopping street, it’s easy to miss so look carefully . Great owners and spotlessly clean.

This is such a lovely small hotel in the very centre of St Jean de Luz in a pedestrian street. It is very quiet and peaceful. I was greeted warmly on arrival by Jennifer who helped me with my luggage.I was given a lovely, comfortable room with a balcony looking over the main shopping street. Every detail had been thought about, including providing black tea on request for the English tea drinker!The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped with an excellent shower. Breakfast with local products was delicious and served in a lovely room looking over the hotel terrace. I would thoroughly recommend Les Almadies and its owners, Jennifer and Mathieu, for a great place to stay. I hope to visit again.
