- Beautiful view, nice little spa, amazing shoulder pounding shower thing in the pool. Renata is so gracious. The restaurant next door was spectacular.
- The room was fairly small,, however with a great ocean view. The bathroom provided "eco" products.
- Such a nice hotel to stay after walking camino... staff were excellent
Cons -
- The only negative was a weird repetitive pounding sound all night. not sure what that was, but it was annoying.
- The room was cleaned however all cleaning materials were left in the room. Disappointing part was the fact that is was valued as an "eco" conscious hotel, all cleaning materials left were not.
- Needs a bar..

The breakfast is amazing, natural products picked from a greenhouse near the hotel are available. You can see the sunset in the ocean from your room, or go to the bar next to the hotel (like a chill out) from the same owners. Amazing views! The people working at the hotel are incredibly nice and helpful
The hotel smelled a bit like a spa. The room gets incredibly hot in the afternoon and there is no AC. There is no elevator - although there is only one floor.
New building, nice personel, nice decoration, fantastic view. Restaurant adjacent.
Far walk from mainstreet.
Lovely room and great spa, both with beautiful ocean view. Great after long camino walks. Also good breakfast and very helpful staff.
My son and husband walked the Camino de Santiago in 2015 and found and stayed at this gem. Andrea was so hospitable to them. They loved it! In May of this year, my husband I went together, as he promised me he would take me to Fisterra :-) and we had a gorgeous balcony and sea view and close walk to the beach. We heard crashing waves outside, it was spectacular! Room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh fruits, jamon, cheese, fabulous breads, pastries and amazing coffee! And the fresh squeezed orange juice!!! The entire team was fabulous! When we arrived, Andrea sent her counterpart to greet us and she was awesome! We highly recommend Hotel Mar da Ardora, it was perfect and they are so helpful and friendly. We felt like family. The spa was an added plus. Will return someday soon! Don't miss this opportunity in this slice of heaven.
Clean beautiful funktional , good service, free coffe and softdrinks. Nice spa. Service top from Nice Staf.
Very inviting and relaxing - staff was wonderful and welcoming. Beach within walking distance with views of the ocean. Delicious restaurant next door ~ bonus!
The view and proximity to a Western facing Atlantic Ocean Beach and the free parking in a lot next door, was very convenient. The staff were also very good.
The room needs air conditioning.
The stunning view. The facilities. The very helpful staff!!
The staff, young lady who helped us, was amazing! Nice. accommodating. Superb service! Loved the soap area and very comfortable bed with a view of the ocean. And nice & quiet. Only 6 rooms..
Spa should be more than just an hour. It should be available during your stay and not extra.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They added a bed to our room on request.
The spa or massage services were not available during our stay. There are some fit and finish issues (glass bathroom door drags on the floor tile, bathroom pocket door was broken).
Firstly, the setting is magnificent. My room had a million dollar view of the Atlantic Ocean, beach, and sky. The staff, especially Stephanie, were polite and always helpful when needed. They kept the hotel in pristine shape. It was a much needed three day break after walkthrough my the Camino de Santiago.
The location -loved the seaview ! We enjoyed using the spa , as it was very relaxing .The staff were very helpful & welcoming . We had a lovely meal at the restaurant next door to the hotel .
Our bed was not very comfortable , the mattress was rather lumpy !
Terrible hotel, booked for 2 nights and only stared 1.
The property was run down, dirty and smelly rooms, shower blocked. I could not open the windows because there was no privacy and it was exposed to the afternoon sun. No staff, no bar, no coffee shop. It was like the place was abandoned. Terrible hotel, booked for 2 nights and only stared 1. Tried to get a refund for the second night but the hotel did not even replied to my email.
The view of the sea from the room was amazing. The breakfast was really good. The spa was relaxing. The hotel was situated up a hill away from the centre of town but it was a walkable distance and you were able to walk down to a nice quiet beach.
You have to pay an additional 10 euros to use the spa if you book this hotel through booking. com. If you book via their own website it is complimentary.
The room was clean and the shower was awesome! But the view was amazing!!! I loved that I could hear the sound of the waves and I could watch the sunset right from my balcony. Bed was comfy and I liked the restaurant next door.
It wasn't too much of an issue, but I wish the AC worked.
The staff were fabulous. We loved the breakfast each day and it was a perfect place to relax after our Camino walk. We lounged on the couch reading, we walked down to the beach and into town. It was great.
We paid the €10 per hour to use the spa and indoor pool but would have preferred it was free so we could use it anytime and for shorter periods.
Room was great, view was even better, breakfast was good.
Had to go up and up again from the bus stop. Food at the restaurant next door was not very good and the only option without having to go down and back up again
