    Pros +

    • It was a nice place to stay on the Camino de Santiago walk, just a few yards off the Camino Frances trail. It was hotel so we didn't interact with pilgrims but Melide is a bigger town and pilgrims were spread out more. The staff was nice, and they had a dinner set up that was really tasty, but nothing really fancy. (We liked that.)
    • Decent location - friendly staff
    • Great location, close to everything on Camino. 2nd time staying here.

    Cons -

    • Nothing, they had an elevator which I used but my walking partner used the stairs anyway. Good location to the grocery store and to the Camino De Santiago trail.
    • Small room, too much large furniture made it cramped - very small bathroom
    • No complaints

    Good location & clean rooms

Bath tub a little hard to get in & out. Bed hard.

Well located and friendly staff. It is an older building and it really shows. The hooks on bathroom need repair as do more things.

Heat barely works a we were freezing and it seemed to off at night. Electricity went out for a very brief period. Needs a renovation and update. Smelled a bit in the bathroom…needs better maintenance for hooks, towel racks

We had a spacious room, staff was great, cafe and bar good food, central location.

Dated fixtures, some in need of repair, tiny elevator.

A spacious room with 3 single beds, a big wardrobe for hanging coats etc.

    Nothing all fine.

The manager greeted us warmly then changed our room to have large bed I instead of two smaller ones. Nice staff!

Room was fabulous, clean and spacious.Great value for money

Nice room, restaurant with good food. Excellent location for hiking the Camino.

Very helpful staff.Dinner available. Breakfast in the bar. Location just off the main street.

Very small lift, one person, one bag. It was welcome as I’ve had no lift on this trip already to higher floors in other accommodations. The shower was inside a very short bath, I’ve never figured how to use it. But, the shower worked which is the important bit after a long walk

    Location, staff and terrace.

Elevator was very small even for 2 people with bags

    6JorgePosted on: 6-18-2024

    ok

Old building, small elevator. Broken stuff not fixed. Bed lamp had exposed wire, dangerous.

Small family run hotel that's near the Camino. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was cosy and clean. It's a little dated but comfortable, and we slept well.Food for dinner was great, fresh vegetable soup followed by streak and potatoes, dessert, and wine. All for a pilgrims price of 12 euro. A comfortable stay with extra comforts for pilgrims who want a little more than a dorm.

Nothing I didn't like. Place was a little dated and could use a spruce in places but otherwise a lovely stay for the night.

Convenient coffee shop on the ground floor. Place to do Laundry was close by. Great water pressure with plenty of hot water.

No mention of breakfast options or times. Both females working front desk and cafe very unfriendly. A lot of noise from the street.

    10RobertPosted on: 5-27-2024

Staff was extremely friendly and there is a bar and restaurant attached to property. Room was small but adequate and bed was comfortable.

Shower situation was awkward. No hand soap at sink but it was attached to shower wall. Very small bathroom. No towel racks. Could barely climb into shower and no hand rails and tub is slippery. Did not like the shower area!

Great location, kind and helpful staff, delicious food, and clean, comfortable room. Excellent place to stay!

    6DavidPosted on: 11-22-2023

We booked a double room but got a triple room, so that was nice. There seemed to be families living in the area.

The bathroom door didn't open all the way.

Very friendly and very helpful staff, unusually caring , good and plentiful meal.
