Pros +
- What's not to love here? The entire property is absolutely beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the bath was a great treat after walking the Camino. I do wish we had known that it was so far out or Muxia as we wanted to see it, but time did not allow with getting a cab back and forth.
- It was beautiful. The spa was amazing. Most of the staff was truly wonderful.
- Beautiful facility and delicious food. The morning receptionist is very helpful, welcoming and friendly. He went out of his way to be pleasant.
Cons -
- We were so looking forward to relaxing and great massages after walking the Camino, but the Spa pricing was a bit high and not included with spa services. Massage was ok, not great.
- The main older man at the computer when we arrived was brusque. When we asked about getting a cab to Santiago, he basically said ‘yes, we could do that’. No offer to help, no suggestion of companies to call. Later, after struggling to make dinner reservations (no one answered the phone, online didn’t work) and the website insisted that you needed Reservations. We ended up just walking up to the restaurant and they let us eat without a problem. But, when I tried to find out about breakfast, like how much it cost, the website did not have the information. So I started clicking buttons and had accidentally ordered in room breakfast. I asked our waiter how I could cancel that (this was 9 pm) and he told me I needed to go up to the front desk. I go back up to the front desk and the same man is sitting there. I told him that I accidentally ordered an in room breakfast and would he cancel it please because I couldn’t do it myself. He said yes he fiddled with something on the computer and told us it was done. The next morning, just as my friend was about to get in the tub, the doorbell rings, and they are trying to deliver the breakfast that I had canceled. That all being said, absolutely everyone else who we interacted with at the hotel was very kind and very helpful.
- The afternoon check in person is not welcoming or friendly and our interaction with her dampened the Parador experience something we were really looking forward to.

Breathtaking property integrated into its surroundings on Camino dos Faros. Unique esthetics, beautiful and functional design. Original art displayed throughout the property. Spacious room with outdoor patio and terrace providing commanding views of Muxía and the beach. Soaking tub, great shower. Extraordinary spa facilities and experience (we did the 1h30 circuit). Outstanding buffet breakfast with exceptional service by the staff, especially Uxia.
The check in process was a bit long, and the front desk staff was not particularly helpful when asked for transportation options to Muxía. New dining room under construction meant that dinner was being temporarily served in an unattractive function room and we were not notified of this in advance or at check in. We elected not to dine at the property as a result. The infinity pool is spectacular. One would expect it to be heated at this time of the year in such a luxury resort, but it was not.
To start - This Parador is in a spectacular location (we only stayed one night). It is an ultra modern Parador and our room was excellent (see the pictures from our room). I normally don't comment about elevators but the hotel elevator alone is worth seeing! Since the hotel is a bit isolated we had dinner there. The dinner was very good and the cost was typical of a restaurant of such high quality. Breakfast was also very good.
We loved the bar and the exceptional service of the staff, so friendly and accommodating
Coffee and tea facilities in the bedroom also a long mirror - apart from that exceptional
Great location overlooking the bay with easy access to the beach. All rooms have a view of the bay.
This property is definitely worth the price. Beautiful spacious rooms with beautiful views of the beach. Breakfast was good value with beautiful views.
Nothing everthing exceptional!
Really beautiful place and stay with this hotel. The only feedback I have is I wished they had better coffee. Loved the art and design. I also loved that it was away from town and a nice walk.,
Great location, views and nice staff. Nice restaurant with very good kids menu.
We were in a 5 floor room (the lower one) and near the path to the beach, so not intimacy at all.
Food was good, both breakfast and dinner. We would have loved to experience the pool but the weather was awful. The location and staff were both excellent. The architecture was stunning.
Excellent room, a nice surprise in design, comfort and its high-q bathroom
1. No in-room coffee machines.2. Library poorly designed and with books under a locker? 3. Restaurant too quiet, maybe some light music could improve it.4. Diglossia against Galician in the artwork around the hotel (La Guardia & other outlawed toponomastic)
Superb Parador on a unique spot! Almost new, the hotel is almost perfect! The staff is very kind!
A really dedicated restaurant would be better then a improvised one in a large meeting room
Very good
Swimming pool, too small and cold.No complimentary water or coffee, which would be typical of 4-5 stars hotels.
Beautiful property. Gorgeous location. Nice big rooms. Restaurant was good.Breakfast was okay. I think they were understaffed so it was slow if you ordered off the menu. Overall fabulous experience!
Beach access was tough if you have mobility issues. A few well placed stairs with a railing on the path would help
Breakfast was great. location is special and access to beach was really nice. facilities are unique and quite nice.
Restaurant for dinner was over-priced and average food. Would have gone into town for dinner had we known, but hotel is remote from town.
The views from the Parador are wonderful and were a highlight of my visit. The room was very nice and the access to trails and beach were convenient. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
The Parador is a few miles from town, which would not prevent me from staying again, but is something to factor into your visit if you are arriving by bus or foot. I was not able to get a cab into town for dinner, which is no fault of the Parador, but did impact my plans for a nice evening meal in town. It was an easy walk into town along the side of the road, but perhaps not something you would want to do if trying to go into town for dinner on a rainy night. The breakfast buffet was extensive and included several options for fresh fruit, made to order eggs, and mimosas; however, the pastries on the buffet were average. My evening meal was decent, but not exceptional. I was not aware of the discount available to pilgrims. If you are a pilgrim, ask about available discounts to receive the best rate possible on your stay and meals.
Architecture, interior design & fabulous location
After walking the Camino, was a very special treat..will be back, food was lovely view was also thankyou for a lovely stay in the Pardor .
Stunning views, spacious room. Reception staff friendly and professional.
Although breakfast staff was professional, we would have wished for more cordiality. They seemed somewhat cold and mechanic.
