Golden Carthage Hotel & Residence Tunis

Very disappointed in the hotel especially after finding out that I have been overcharged in services. There was no shuttle to the hotel or airport which they said it was included got charged $40 to get to the hotel and $20 to get to the airport.

Besides the lobby looked some what fancy,the rooms were more like Motel 6, the room was off site not inside the hotel itself they said they were over booked even though looked so empty,way to many stairs it was a struggle with 3 bags & after a long trip.

The pool was great. The service was excellent. the lobby is beautiful. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable

Rooms were fantastic. Staff and food was second to none.

Unfortunately the spa and indoor pool were either not fully functional or not available. It will just take time and the outdoor pools are wonderful in the summer months.

Staff very friendy room was not ready at 3pm evan confirmation was recieved for early check in.. shower was bad no hot water had an early flight could not shower.

One night stay was not really enjoyable for me this time.

Room directions are confusing. I found other guests also struggling to find their rooms. Staff were not able to give correct direction to massage room. No Spa was in service. I was disappointed! Security staff gave me wrong direction and I spent 20 minutes looking for it, finally someone told me that spa was not in service.

This hotel is near the beach has a beautiful pool with a sea view, the hotel staff is very cooperative, highly recommended

The room was very comfortable. The hotel was big so it didn't feel crowded. The breakfast was also good and variant. The staff were very kind and helpful.

the most uncomfortable thing about this trip was the noise all day because of new constructions in the hotel, and I think that is not good for the hotel reputation in the middle of the season

Firstly, the hotel is under construction in one of the wings. Our room was there. There were holes in the ceiling. The toilet seat in our room was broken. The staff (except the main manager) were incredibly unfriendly. The construction was daily. This is not a 5 star hotel at all. The rooms are very old.

I have travelled for work so I didn't explore much in the hotel but the bed is comfortable and the room very big. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. Easy to reach, close to historical places. Also the decoration of the hotel is nice and in agreement with the location. The pool was nice although I couldn't use it because no time.

There were no power outlet close to the night table in my room, I had 2 mts long cable I could charge my phone beside me for the wake up call. Bring long charging cables. The room service menu is dull although the quality is good.

Room was well equipped (with ironing machine and board) , clean, good furniture, and spacious. Room cleaning service was very good.Breakfast was good. With good varieties and fresh types of local breads, and of course you can order eggs. The service in the restaurant is very good. The restaurant is big and spacious. Check in and check out were easy and the staff in the hotel are friendly, helpful, and professional. There are more than one restaurant in the hotel. I tried two and they were nice. I liked the Indian restaurant more. The WiFi was good. I general, I liked the hotel and enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast could have more varieties Noisy maintenance work that extends for hours during the day. Was hard to take a nap in the afternoon.

The location is amazing, overlooking the sea.

The room service knocked on the door even though the "Do Not Disturb" sign was used. This happened twice.
